Fake Pink Floyd Fans Mistake Dark Side of the Moon Rainbow for Gay Pride Flag, Start Homophobic Rambling

Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon has sported a rainbow on its cover for 50 years, since the cover, ahem, depicts a prism refracting light. Still, when the band posted an adapted version of this iconography to its Facebook to celebrate the album’s anniversary, many fake fans took the rainbow as a sign of Pink Floyd’s support for gay rights, and they weren’t happy about it. “Lose the rainbow, you’re making yourself look stupid,” one user commented, while another demanded “equal representation” on the band’s page with a “straight flag.” “From this moment I don’t listen to this band,” a third commenter threatened. Fortunately, however, news of the anti-woke mob swarming Pink Floyd’s comment section has prompted the band’s more reasonable fans to fire back, pointing out the fact...

Aubrey Plaza and Amy Poehler Reprise Parks and Recs Characters on SNL

Fans of Parks and Recreation enjoyed a mini reunion on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live. Episode host Aubrey Plaza reprised her character April Ludgate during Weekend Update to discuss how young people can get involved in local government. After listing out several jobs requiring minimal effort (bus driver, working for a water department, dog catcher), Plaza’s Ludgate gave way to a true civil servant, “her old boss” Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler). As Knope, Poehler leaned into jokes about SNL and Weekend update — which she anchored for five seasons between 2004 and 2008. “I want to pick your brain about this job, about this show because I used to watch this when Seth Meyers did it by himself with no one else and he made it look really easy,” Poehler told current Weekend Update anchor ...

Aubrey Plaza Books a New Role on SNL’s White Lotus Spoof: Watch

The White Lotus was booked for Aubrey Plaza’s hosting gig on Saturday Night Live, but it offered an alternative resort experience at “The Black Lotus” with “all the decadence, all the intrigue, none of the foolishness.” In a send-up of the upscale, HBO destination drama, Kenan Thompson and Ego Nwodim lead “a staff who has no time for this nonsense” against familiar high-strung hotel guests like Jennifer Coolidge’s Tanya, portrayed by an indistinguishable Chloe Fineman, and the aspiring local singer, played by Heidi Gardner, whose scheme to replace the in-house talent is dashed by Kenny in the Kirk Franklin Lounge. Plaza makes her entrance as a provocative bartender who delivers some harsh but rational advice to the young, swindled stand-in for Season 2 character Albie, speaking for the aud...

Pamela Anderson Alleges Tim Allen Flashed Her on Set of Home Improvement

In her new memoir, Pamela Anderson alleges that Tim Allen flashed her on the set of Home Improvement in 1991. Anderson appeared on the first two seasons of Home Improvement as Lisa, Binford’s first “Tool Girl.” At the time of the alleged incident Anderson was 23 years old and Allen was 37. “On the first day of filming, I walked out of my dressing room, and Tim was in the hallway in his robe. He opened his robe and flashed me quickly — completely naked underneath. He said it was only fair, because he had seen me naked. Now we’re even. I laughed uncomfortably,” Anderson wrote in her memoir Love, Pamela (via Variety). Advertisement Related Video Allen denied the claim, saying in a statement to Variety: “No, it never happened. I would never do such a thing.” Love, Pamela is due out on January ...

KORN’s FIELDY Is ‘Not On Drugs’, Says His Best Friend And STILLWELL Bandmate

Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu‘s close friend has shot down rumors that the KORN bassist is battling a substance abuse problem. Ever since Fieldy announced in June 2021 that he would sit out KORN‘s ongoing tour in order to “heal” after “falling back” on some of his “bad habits,” some fans have speculated that that he had been receiving treatment after turning to hard drugs. But in a new interview with The Nobodies, Fieldy‘s STILLWELL bandmate, vocalist/guitarist Anthony “Q-Unique” Quiles, dismissed the suggestion that the bassist had a drug habit, saying (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “I know a lot of KORN fans wanna know where [Fieldy is] at. I just wanna say this, for the record: he’s okay. He̵...

Along the way, Alexander Krull‘s enduring crew have veered off in numerous unexpected directions, embracing everything from vicious hardcore to deep-dive gothic rock, and generally refusing to play the tunnel-vision repetition game. Arguably still best known for 1992’s dark death masterpiece “Todessehnsucht”, ATROCITY have spent the last few ye...

Sundance Review: Jonathan Majors Is Here to Pump You Up and Bum You Out in Magazine Dreams

This review is part of our coverage of the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. The Pitch: Killian Maddox (Jonathan Majors) wants one thing, and one thing only: To be remembered. Following in the footsteps of his idols (including one he writes to regularly, played by four-time Mr. Universe Michael O’Hearn), he’s committed himself to bodybuilding, shoving down 6,000 calories of chicken breast and pumping iron morning, noon, and night. He practices his poses in front of cameras, molds his physique to near perfection, rips through steroids like they’re Diet Cokes. He chugs protein shakes while watching porn, but doesn’t masturbate — whether that’s due to steroid-induced impotence or some unstated facets of his sexuality, we don’t yet know. He competes in amateur bodybuilding competitions, but ju...
