Mastodon and Gojira Announce 2023 Co-Headlining Tour

Mastodon and Gojira have announce a 2023 co-headlining tour. Dubbed the Mega-Monsters Tour, it will take place this spring and summer across North America. Opening each date will be Lorna Shore. Find the full itinerary for the co-headlining tour below. The Mega-Monsters Tour will begin on April 18 in Portland, Oregon before the bands move across most of the West Coast and the South. After a brief break in June and July, Mastodon and Gojira will head back on the road, performing on the East Coast and Midwest before concluding the trek on September 2 in  Greenwood Village, Colorado.  Mastodon released their latest and eighth album, Hushed and Grim, back in 2021. Rare Fugazi Footage to Screen in Washington, D.C. for 20th Anniversary of Last Show

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Fugazi’s last public show. To celebrate that, Washington, D.C. area movie theater AFI Silver is screening a 90-minute-long collection of “crowd-sourced, fan-recorded live shows and rare archival footage” called We Are Fugazi From Washington, DC. The one-night-only screening takes place on February 11 and, as is to be expected, tickets cost $5. The longstanding hard rockers will embark on a Spring 2023 North American run, called the “No Stars Above Tour,” featuring support from Amigo the Devil and Nate Bergman. SiriusXM Taps Former Wall Street Journal Marketing Chief for New Subscription Role

SiriusXM has brought on Suzi Watford, the former chief marketing officer for Dow Jones and the Wall Street Journal, to oversee the satellite radio giant’s streaming subscription business, the company said on Tuesday. Watford will join SiriusXM in the newly created role of chief growth officer and report to Joe Verbrugge, SiriusXM’s chief commercial officer.
