Björk’s daughter Ísadóra Bjarkardóttir Barney is stepping out of her mother’s shadow to release the new song, “bergmál,” which she wrote and sang as part of the Reykjavík art collective Post-Dreifing. The 21-year-old Ísadóra had previously worked with her powerhouse mom on her latest album, Fossora, where the younger artist contributed to the track, “Her Mother’s House.” Ísadóra is the only artist credited on “bergmál,” a folksy number built around layered harmonies, hand claps, and simple plucked strings. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy Ísadóra’s voice — less ethereal than her mother’s, and with a rooted, earthy tone. Check out “bergmál” below. The song appears on Post-Dreifing’s January 20th album, Drullumall # 4, a 14-track collaboration t...
A newly resurfaced video shows Tim Allen flashing Home Improvement co-star Patricia Richardson in what TMZ describes as a “playful blooper.” In the clip obtained by TMZ, Allen is wearing a kilt. When he asks Richardson how it looks, she replies, “Hangs long, I just wish it was shorter” — prompting Allen to lift up the kilt and Richardson to scream. Richardson told TMZ that Allen was wearing boxer shorts underneath the kilt. “People ask me what was under the kilt when he flashed me, he was well dressed under there, I was just shocked that he lifted the kilt, not by a man in boxer shorts,” she explained. Belle and Sebastian have unfortunately canceled the North American tour dates they recently announced for spring 2023, citing frontman Stuart Murdoch’s health. “As you might be aware my health took a dive around November 2022,” Murdoch shared in a post on the band’s social media. “While I am hoping that I will improve over the coming months, we felt it would be a safer route to cancel this tour and leave a clear path to recovery, rather than take a risk and have to cancel at the last minute.” The post continued: “We had a great plan in place, to release our second LP in six months and hit America up again! While the record made it out, we’re going to have to wait a bit longer until we can tour it. We apologise again for the inconvenience we have caused you.” Advertisement Related Video Mur...
The Oscars wouldn’t be the Oscars if they didn’t have their share of snubs and surprises. And this year was no different. To catch you up, the year’s most nominated film is Everything Everywhere All at Once, with 11 nods, followed by All Quiet on the Western Front and The Banshees of Inisherin with nine each; Elvis with eight, The Fabelmans with seven; and Tar and Top Gun: Maverick, with six each. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever followed with five nods; Avatar: The Way of Water was next up, with four. Top Gun: Maverick did better in the nominations than the first Top Gun, which received just four nods. Also, this sequel rated a best picture nod, something that was denied the 1986 blockbuster that made Tom Cruise a superstar. But the aforementioned sequels to Black Panther and Avatar moved i...

Hilary Duff stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers on Monday (Jan. 24) to dish about kissing co-star John Corbett on the set of How I Met Your Father. In season 2 of the Hulu series, Duff’s character, Sophie, finds herself romanced by an older man played by the Sex and the City star. However, as diehard fans will surely remember, the two actors already share an onscreen history, having starred together in the 2004 teen music drama Raise Your Voice. Of course, back then, Corbett played 17-year-old Duff’s teacher and mentor at an elite summer music program in Los Angeles. “He sure did,” the Lizzie McGuire alum told Meyers of Corbett portraying her teacher once upon a time. “And now we are smooching it up.” “This would’ve been very bad if that happened then,” the host quipped comparing a phot...
