Time to start planning, Movement‘s set times are finally here. Coming soon to Detroit, Michigan is the world-renowned celebration of techno. Artists like Jeff Mills, The Martinez Brothers, Carl Craig, Maya Jane Coles, Flying Lotus, Chris Lake, Duck Sauce, The Blessed Madonna, and many, many more are set to take the stage for the festival’s first outing since 2019. Detroit’s Movement Festival Eyes 2022 Return

After two long years of devastating delays and cancellations, Detroit’s Movement Electronic Music Festival looks to reignite the flame in 2022.  The renowned techno and house music festival will return during its usual Memorial Day Weekend run from May 28th through 30th at Hart Plaza in Detroit. A lineup has not yet been announced, but fans should keep an eye on the artists who were originally listed on the festival’s 2020 and 2021 iterations. Those include Maceo Plex, Justin Martin, Joseph Capriati, and many others. The last Movement went down in 2019, when attendees were treated to phenomenal DJ sets from Carl Craig, MK, and more. Nigerian airlines list conditions for full refund to passengers after two-hour flight delay

Following the pronouncement of the Federal Government that airline operators must refund the full cost of travel tickets to passengers after a two-hour delay, commercial airlines have listed the conditions for such reimbursement. The airline operators made this known in separate interviews with newsmen. IPOB: No harm should befall Nnamdi Kanu

Barely 24 hours after his arrest was made public, the Indigenous People of Biafra on Wednesday, warned that nothing must happen to its leader, Nnamdi Kanu. The organisation which said Kanu was kidnapped by the government agents promised to “expose details of his abduction later”. Spokesperson for IPOB, Emma Powerful, said these in a statement titled, ‘Nothing should happen to our leader, IPOB tells FG’. According to him, IPOB would not be intimidated into backing out of the struggle, despite Kanu’s arrest. Lagos assembly warns local councils against extorting courier, logistics operators

Pool Photo The Lagos House of Assembly on Monday ordered local government councils and local council development areas (LCDAs) in the state to desist from extorting and harrassing operators of courier and logistics services in the state. Mudashiru Obasa, the House speaker, said the local councils do not have the power to tax logistics and courier services. He said the power of the councils was limited to the registration of bicycles as dictated by the Constitution. He said the prosecution had presented no evidence to substantiate its claim that Rusesabagina had given orders to the FLN, which has claimed responsibility for attacks in past years that it said were aimed at ousting the president. Katsina governor declares no negotiations with bandits

Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari has announced his decision to stop further dialogue with bandits in the state due to their lack of central leadership and structure. Ebonyi State governor David Umahi has urged the people of the state to ignore the sit-at-home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and go about their normal activities.
