David Guetta and MORTEN Share Preview of Collab With Viral “Dreams” Singer Lanie Gardner

When Lanie Gardner posted her cover of Fleetwood Mac‘s iconic track “Dreams” to TikTok, little did she know what would come of the decision. After her seemingly innocuous upload went viral, Gardner’s world flipped upside down. Within ten days, she signed a deal with Jonas Group Entertainment—the management arm of the Jonas Brothers—further validating the power of TikTok and its formidable influence in the music industry. It’s clear that the 21-year old pop artist has swerved onto a road to fame, and the first exit she’s taking is into the EDM landscape. Gardner caught the attention of dance music stars David Guetta and MORTEN, who have tapped the young songstress for what looks to be an electronic rendition of the Fleetwood Mac classic tha...

Vintage Culture and Fancy Inc Deliver Retro Remix of David Guetta and Sia’s “Let’s Love”

David Guetta has spent the majority of 2020 refining his electrifying “future rave” sound with MORTEN. In September, he switched gears to release his wildly popular synthwave single with Sia, “Let’s Love.” Their collaborative effort has now received the remix treatment from Vintage Culture and Fancy Inc.  Vintage Culture and Fancy Inc have embodied some of David Guetta and MORTEN’s patented “future rave” sound with their remix of “Let’s Love” all while still managing to inject each of their unique styles into the track. Sia’s unmistakable voice remains untouched as the Brazilian producers have stripped the original tune of its synthwave feel for something more minimalistic. However, their remix still expertly evok...

Highlights include a tense drive down a foggy country road and a poignant encounter with a young boy,...

David Guetta and MORTEN Release “Future Rave” Remix of “Let’s Love” With Sia

Guetta has now called on longtime collaborator MORTEN to unveil their new “Future Rave” remix of the single.  The duo completely reimagines the original, bringing it from the 80s to the year 2020 and beyond. They eliminate the retro keyboard riff and replace it with gut-punching bass and ominous synths, creating the perfect soundscape for the “future rave” genre they’ve pioneered. 10 Glorious Pre-Pandemic EDM Concert Moments for the Nostalgic

COVID-19 is like a disposable camera—it has no place in modern society, but it conjures nostalgic memories of old. iPhones are to disposable cameras what COVID-19 is to live music. The only difference, however, is that live music will eventually return. Until that happens, though, we can only look at the past through rose colored glasses and hope the hues don’t fade. To that end, a number of electronic music artists and labels have taken to social media in recent weeks to share old videos of intoxicating concert moments that are crystallized in time as mementos of a once-vibrant EDM zeitgest.
