Sullivan King recruited a mammoth of a collaborator for his new track. Coming soon to Monstercat is Thrones of Blood, King’s third album. In preparation for the next chapter of his saga, the metalcore-electronic producer has shared a new album single, “Let Me Go,” with help from dubstep star Wooli. The duo’s second collaboration finds the gargantuan melodic bass of Wooli weaving seamlessly with King’s larger-than-life vocals. The uplifting track combines an emotional plea from King with festival-grade melodic bass. Giving into both of their dark sides, they then build up to a pulverizing bass drop that instantly teleports us from the mainstage to the middle of a mosh pit. After signing to Monstercat just last month, Filipino electronic music star No Mana has returned with his second single on the label, “Out of the Dark.” The tech-driven track takes us through a mystical, underground odyssey backed by a thumping bassline and ominous, distorted sound design. According to a press release, the tune itself was conceptualized from what No Mana believes angels would sound like. “When I was scrambling for visual assets for this song on my Gravity set, I ran into my GIFs of a skull, chains and biblically accurate angels, to which I thought, ‘If this track had an affinity for something it would be these animations,'” No Mana said in a statement. Take a listen to “Out of the Dark” below. Scroll to Continue...
Coming off of his headlining Lost Lands B2B with Excision, Sullivan King has joined forces with the creator of one of this festival season’s biggest tracks. Two weeks after King and Ray Volpe took the stage at the prehistoric-themed bass music celebration, they’ve returned to keep the party going with a new metalcore record. Released on Monstercat, “The Dead March” fuses both of their distinct sounds to deliver a bone-crunching banger. Heavy-hitting metal drums and sirens introduce “The Dead March” before the arrangement cuts away to focus on King’s isolated guitar riffs. He then lets out a scream and turns the ignition. With a rallying cry, King and Volpe inject the track with screeching synths and roaring bass that build to a thund...
