MK‘s recent dance-pop single “Chemical” is the focal point of a new online game, Chemical Chase. The song’s bubbly harmonies found an unlikely mouthpiece in the official music video, which features a rugged, anthropomorphic Boxer singing along to every word and ear-flapping to the beat. The surreal face of the track has now made his reprise in Chemical Chase, a game in which players must strive to navigate the dog through a neon-washed cityscape. The game play is extremely similar to Flappy Bird, which many will recall was a game that suddenly vanished from the App Store and Google Play store near the height of its release in 2014. At the time, the game’s creator Dong Nguyen said he felt uneasy with his observations as to how addictive the game had become...

Earlier in the month of February, Jaguar released a new advert with house music luminary MK, who teamed up with the storied luxury vehicle brand to promote its new F-PACE performance SUV. The ad was soundtracked by MK’s new single “Lies,” a track created alongside Raphaella that is as smooth as the car’s Windsor leather interior. MK has now unveiled a video offering fans a deeper look into the unique collaboration, which was born out of a desire to explore the intersection of music automotive tech. “I’m in the business of creating heightened moments,” MK says before waxing poetic about how his musical journey has come full circle from the genesis of his career, when he discovered synthesizers growing up in the 80s. MK is seeking to have his management agreement declared void, alleging he was duped into an “unconscionable” arrangement by his former team. The renowned music producer and DJ alleges that the agreement from MDM Artists has locked him in for up to a ten-year term, which is reportedly in violation of California law. The state’s “seven-year rule” for employment contracts states that such agreements may only be enforced for a seven-year period. The structure of MK’s agreement in particular included an initial six-year term but also grants an additional four single-year unilateral extensions. Additionally, the suit alleges that the agreement includes a “sunset clause” entitling MDM Artists to a cut of MK’s earnings on deals ...

According to a press release for her first release of the year, “All I Need,” fans can expect “a steady stream of new music over the rest of the year.”&nbs...
It’s safe to assume Suzanne Collins, the creator of The Hunger Games, could not have imagined the lasting impact her song “The Hanging Tree” would have on the music industry. After Jennifer Lawrence made headlines landing the No. 2 spot on the iTunes song chart back in 2014, countless producers decided to put their own spin on it. Earlier this year, it was brought back to the top of the charts through HOSH and 1979‘s rework “Midnight (The Hanging Tree)” featuring Jalja, and now MK is here to do it again. MK follows the original’s melodic house structure, but brightens it up with faster piano chords, bouncy drums, and vocal chops. This remix also comes at a poignant time in our nation’s history, making this drop seemingly inten...
