In Michael Kiwanuka’s mind, everything in America seems heightened. When something is good here, it’s “ridiculously good,” according to the British-Ugandan singer/songwriter. Nigerian superstars, Wizkid and Burna Boy, dominated the night at the just concluded Mobo Awards 2020. Wizkid bagged the Best African Act while Burna Boy received the Best International Act. Newsmen report that the awards stopped but later came back after a three-year hiatus as organizers announced on November 24 the nominations for the 2020 Music of Black Origin Awards.
