Nike Announces Grateful Dead-Inspired Sneakers

Deadheads may not be traveling around the country following their favorite band these days, but they still need some comfortable footwear to just keep truckin’ on. Lucky for them, Nike has announced a new line of sneakers in collaboration with Grateful Dead. The Nike SB Dunk Low Grateful Dead cost $110 and come in three different colorways. The orange version will be released on July 18th via FTC Skateshop, while the green and yellow versions will drop on July 24th via Nike’s app SNKRS and select skate shops. Alice Cooper Is Getting His Own … Chocolate Milk

Alice Cooper has been delivering shock-rock creepiness for 50 years, beheading himself thousands of times onstage along the way. Now, he’s ready to take a slice out of the chocolate milk business. That’s right, Alice Cooper is getting his own chocolate milk, and it’s all for a good cause. Proceeds from the sale of the chocolate milk will benefit the rocker’s nonprofit Solid Rock. The organization operates the Rock Teen Center in Phoenix, Arizona, providing free instruction in music and other creative arts to local teenagers. The rock legend is teaming up with Danzeisen Dairy to produce the chocolate milk, which bears Coopers’ image on the bottle. Consequence of Sound Launches New T-Shirts

T-shirts are here! Consequence of Sound is unveiling a new capsule of branded shirts as part of our newly relaunched webstore. The initial designs include several logo tees in a variety of different styles, including midnight navy, cardinal red, galaxy splatter, and dream tie-dye. Additionally, we’re commemorating the Spring 2020 concert season that was not with a limited-edition tee available in black and storm blue. As with our custom face masks, we’ll be donating a portion of the proceeds MusiCares’ COVID-19 Artist Relief Fund benefiting artists and other music industry professionals. 40th Anniversary of Ace of Spades to Be Celebrated on Motörhead Day (The 8th of May)

The 40th anniversary of the classic Motörhead album Ace of Spades is being celebrated on its sound-alike day. The 8th of May (“The 8th of May!”) has been designated as Motörhead Day, and it promises new content, easter eggs, and merchandise for fans. For Motörhead Day, a new lyric video will be unveiled for “Ace of Spades”, and fans will be able to customize their social media profile pics with filters of the band’s iconic Warpig mascot. Additionally, a limited edition Road Crew merchandise capsule will be made available at the band’s online shop, with proceeds going to benefit Live Nation’s Crew Nation Fund, which aids touring crews affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
