Memphis Police Disband Controversial SCORPION Unit

The controversial SCORPION unit of the Memphis Police Department, where five of its officers are charged with the beating death of Tyre Nichols, has been disbanded. The decision came after Chief C.J. Davis met with the officers of the unit over the weekend. Ben Crump and Antonio Romanucci, lawyers representing the Nichols family, commended the decision in a statement released on Saturday.
