Delroy Lindo Joins Cast Of Marvel’s New ‘Blade’ Movie

Lindo, who has been captivating audiences recently in Netflix’s The Harder They Fall as Marshal Bass Reeves, is set to be part of Marvel Studios’ reboot of Blade as reported in Variety. The Wall Street Journal reports that Black Widow star Scarlett Johansson is suing Disney, claiming a contract breach relating to the simultaneous release in theaters and Disney Plus. According to the publication, Johannson’s contract reportedly assured her that the film would be released exclusively in theaters. “Disney intentionally induced Marvel’s breach of the agreement, without justification, to prevent Ms. Johansson from realizing the full benefit of her bargain with Marvel,” the lawsuit states.
