There’s nothing that blurs the line between frightening and fascinating quite like artificial intelligence. And since artificial intelligence and electronic music are becoming more symbiotic by the day, the staff here at EDM.com wanted to see just how far it could go in a visual sense. So we came up with bizarre descriptions of artists and fed them through A.I. art generators. Some images are photorealistic. Others are fancifully distorted. And the majority of them are flat-out creepy. But we digress. Read on to see our weird and wonderful creations. Marc Rebillet is known for offering fans unique live music experiences, but he’s outdone himself this time. Loop Daddy is hosting a contest that will allow 12 lucky fans to watch him record his debut album in Brooklyn, New York. According to a press release, that group will be the first-ever studio audience to witness a debut album being written in action. “I’m recording my first album, and I want you to be there! A small group of people will be invited to join me in my new studio and watch me record some shit,” Rebillet said in a press release. “This is a real studio session, not a performance. We’ll hang out, have a drink between takes, maybe some special guests will stop by.” Marc Rebillet has announced the first-ever live debut album recor...
Dillon Francis will be going inside the mind of Marc Rebillet for the debut episode of the latter’s new Amazon Music show, We’ve Got Company. Francis has been confirmed as the second special guest in the series, following Flying Lotus’ appearance in the first episode. Broadcasting bi-weekly, We’ve Got Company is described as “a talk show inside of a sitcom.” Rebillet and his guests will create music on the fly, interact with viewers, play video games and more, all inside the world of a zany TV sitcom hosted by Loop Daddy himself. While the episode with Francis is technically the second episode in the series, it will be the broadcast debut of We’ve Got Company since the pilot with Lotus never made the air due to technical difficulties. You better watch Marc Rebillet‘s new show or he will be very upset with you. Coming this week to Amazon Music‘s Twitch channel is a new biweekly show hosted by Rebillet, affectionately known as Loop Daddy. Titled We’ve Got Company, the program will feature special guests, gaming, audience interaction, and of course, some improvised performances from Rebillet and his friends. Described by Rebillet as “a talk show inside of sitcom,” the first episode of We’ve Got Company will feature an appearance from the multimedia mastermind Flying Lotus filmed in the style of those classic, comforting TV shows. Considering the duo’s penchant for absurdity and Rebillet’s tendency to shed his clothing, we can already imagine how much the executives who g...

Marc Rebillet is bringing his unforgettable live show to one of the nation’s most iconic concert venues. After securing a prominent spot on this year’s Bonnaroo lineup, the loop station maestro is back with another huge announcement. On the night before Halloween, the one they call Loop Daddy will bring his popular brand of improvisational live music to Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre for his first headlining performance at the venue. Previously Rebillet had been scheduled to perform at Red Rocks as support for Lotus in 2020, but the show was canceled due to the impact of COVID-19. Now, after an explosion in popularity over the past two years, Rebillet will be the one front and center. In addition to his Red Rocks extravaganza, Loop Daddy will be hitting the road ...
Over the past year or so, Marc Rebillet quickly became a household name. But before Loop Daddy was an international music festival headliner, he released wonky electronic beats and hip-hop instrumentals under a secretive alias. While some super-fans have known about the side project—dubbed leae—for some time now, after browsing some of Rebillet’s near decade-old tracks, we felt it was time to unearth them. As you can hear from the track below, leae’s music is a far cry from Rebillet’s current songs about hormone therapy and grandma-devouring flamingos. It mostly comprises introspective, instrumental solo tracks aside from a few collabs with hip-hop artists. If anything, the sound is a microcosm of not his production chops, but also his growth...
Marc Rebillet has gained the attention of many with his larger-than-life personality, undeniably catchy rhythms, and spicy lyrics. The one they call “Loop Daddy” has already climbed to the highest heights, working with artists such as Snoop Dogg and Reggie Watts and booking high-profile gigs at Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza, among other major festivals. Now, he’s hit the small screen as the star of a hilarious German television commercial. The ad comes courtesy of German supermarket Edeka, who enlisted Rebillet to star as “Super Marc” in the zany TV spot. Rebillet works his magic on the fruits and vegetables in an Edeka store that looks more like a nightclub, gyrating around with the same personality he showcases in his hysterical videos and livestreams. A di...

While the headlining cast is not exactly electronic-forward, the fest’s undercard features a solid selection of talent. This includes Alison Wonderland, Ma...
Just last month it was revealed that Outside Lands would be pushing their beloved Summer event to the Fall. While the update came as no surprise, fans were excited to see a new batch of artists added to the list, and the fact that the date changed to Halloween weekend meant Outside Lands would provide the perfect chance to don some epic costumes. The team behind the festival is now back with their next announcement, the single-day lineups. The party starts on Friday, October 29th. The first day features a bevy of newly added artists to the roster, including The 1975 replacement headliner Glass Animals. They will be rocking out alongside fellow fresh additions SG Lewis and Kaytranada. Day Two lists ZHU as one of the headlining acts, and sets from Shiba San, Marc Rebillet, a...
Following the success of his drive-in tour last year, Marc Rebillet is preparing to hit the road later this year for an in-person tour. Across his social media pages, the improvisational phenomenon shared the announcement and revealed the locations where he would be taking the stage. Most of the shows are standalone events, but some of his festival dates have been displayed on the list. This includes his future performances at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, III Points Music Festival, and Outside Lands. For those unfamiliar with Rebillet, all of his performances are completely improvised. He does not make use of any sort of setlist and oftentimes there is a lot of fan participation in choosing what to sing about next. Those curious can learn more about his unique career in our in-depth...
