Pep Guardiola: Manchester City miss Sergio Aguero

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola opened up on his side’s goal scoring troubles after a goalless draw against Man United. He also talked about missing star striker Sergio Aguero. He said: “We miss Sergio but for the last six months, not just today, he was injured a lot of times. One step at a time, he still isn’t fit”. “Other players are working hard. Today he had a problem in his stomach and couldn’t make a session. He was at home”. “Of course, we miss Sergio, he is the best striker in Manchester City’s history”. “In the next short time, we will go without him and I am sure when he is fit, he will be back.” Sergio Aguero missed the Manchester derby due to sickness. Manchester United make formal RB Leipzig approach for Upamecano

Manchester United have made an approach for RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano. United have been shaky at the back all season, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to strengthen his defence at the next available opportunity. Frenchman Upamecano is contracted with Leipzig until 2023, meaning the German club are under no pressure to sell. But Upamecano does have a €45million (£40m) release clause in his contract, which will appeal to the Red Devils. BILD says Man United are one of three clubs who have registered their interest in signing Upamecano. United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently spoke out about Upamecano, admitted he was excited to see him play against the Red Devils in the Champions League. Talks have not progressed like we would have wanted and the thought of daily updates has become tiresome. We call it saga, in Germany they refer to it was ‘Sancho Poker’. Former Man United striker Andy Cole doesn’t sound too bothered about the club potentially missing out on Sancho this summer. Cole thinks United already have enough striking talent. “Ole’s got Man United playing the way Man United should be player — attacking football,” Cole told the Daily Mirror. “Some of the signings Ole’s made have made Manche...
