After announcing their comeback late last year, the organizers of Detroit’s legendary Movement Music Festival have revealed the event’s 2022 headliners. Though this is only a small glimpse of what’s to come, it’s a spectacular lineup so far. Nina Kraviz, Seth Troxler, Anfisa Letyago, Adam Beyer, The Blessed Madonna, Richie Hawtin, Claude VonStroke, and more were among the first to be announced. Venerated house producer and DJ Maceo Plex has released a new single called “Nu World,” teaming up with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) for a timely philanthropic endeavor ahead of the impending US federal election. The menacing tech house tune arrives by way of Maceo Plex’s own Ellum Audio banner and is oozing with the sinister kinetic flair that helped to catapult him to the upper echelon of the genre.
