West Ham United are reportedly in the race to sign Sevilla star Luuk de Jong, according to Sport (h/t Sport Witness). Barcelona are also interested in signing the Dutch striker and could make a move in the final week of the summer transfer window. However, Barca could find it hard to lure him away from Sevilla, with the player also receiving an ‘interesting’ offer from the Hammers. Other clubs are vying for his signature, but it seems to be an open race. If Barcelona fail to land de Jong, he would prefer a move to the London club.
