The Grammy-nominated electronic music vet hasn’t offered any more details at this time—including a date or location—but it’s clear that a major show announcement is on the way. Pride Month is officially here and Los Angeles’ festivities are about to be in full swing.  Kickstarting the month is OUTLOUD’s event series, which starts this week with dance music duo SOFI TUKKER. Taking place at the Los Angeles Coliseum and curated by Adam Lambert, the LGBTQ+ event will also feature performances from Hayley Kiyoko, Daya, and Wrabel, among other artists. As the stateside live music scene picks up the pieces of a lost year, Eric Prydz seems to be returning as hungry as ever. The iconic DJ and progressive house producer has announced an upcoming outdoor concert in Los Angeles with fabled event brand Factory 93, known for their iconic warehouse parties in the City of Angels. The announcement arrives less than two weeks after Prydz shared the news of his impending New York City takeover, a four-date Brooklyn warehouse run split between two weekends in November and December, respectively. Hollywood Bowl to Prioritize Fully Vaccinated Attendees Under New 67% Capacity Cap

Nearly 40% of adults in the United States have now been fully vaccinated, paving the way to a promising future of live events in 2021. And, with the CDC’s recent announcement that these individuals no longer need to wear masks outdoors, venues are adjusting their COVID-19 safety measures to match.  Leading the way is the Hollywood Bowl after releasing an updated Safety Information breakdown on May 20th. According to these new protocols, fully vaccinated event attendees will be given priority access to seating at the venue, which will operate at 67% of its usual capacity. This past week beloved Australian electronic trio RÜFÜS DU SOL proved just how high the demand is for live music as it makes its comeback. The group sold out their November 12th and 13th performances at the 22,000-capacity Banc of California Stadium before tickets were officially released to the public. Britain’s Prince Charles paid a personal tribute on Saturday to his “dear papa” Prince Philip, saying the royal family missed him emormously and that the 99-year-old would have been amazed at the touching reaction across the world to his death. After a year devoid of concerts, RÜFÜS DU SOL is going big with their return. The celebrated electronic group have announced the biggest headline show of their sterling career after sharing the news of a momentous concert in Los Angeles. The show will go down at Banc of California Stadium on Friday, November 12th, and will also feature Australian compatriots Flight Facilities. Banc of California Stadium is currently the home of Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles FC and soon to be the home of the National Women’s Soccer League’s Angel City FC.
