Mastodon to Livestream Acoustic Show from Georgia Aquarium

Mastodon are set to play their first-ever acoustic concert from the Georgia Aquarium, and will livestream the gig across the globe. The Atlanta metal band is teaming up with HD streaming platform Dreamstage for the July 15th event. The hometown concert will mark Mastodon’s first gig of 2021, before they play a handful of festival dates in the fall. The livestream show has been dubbed “Captured Live at Georgia Aquarium”, and a press release hints that it may be only time the band performs an acoustic set. In addition to the performance, the livestream will feature commentary from the members of Mastodon, who will offer insight into the band’s creative process. Chris Liebing to Star in Second Installment of Beatport’s “Game Changers”

Beatport has announced the next installment of its “Game Changers” series, a three-episode series of livestreams and mini-documentaries about the world’s most exciting electronic artists. The next featured artist in the project, which is produced in partnership with Microsoft Surface, is techno heavyweight Chris Liebing.  The “Game Changers” series showcases epic performances from iconic locations. Stream: Tomorrowland’s One World Radio Tribute to Avicii Is Now Live

To remember Avicii three years to the day after his tragic death, Tomorrowland‘s One World Radio is airing a special tribute episode to the legendary dance music artist. Over 60 of Avicii’s classic songs are being streamed throughout the day today, as well as live set highlights from his iconic performances at Tomorrowland. The tribute stream will include interviews from Avicii’s contemporaries, including “I Can Be The One” collaborator Nicky Romero and famed “Wake Me Up” vocalist Aloe Blacc, who will wax poetic about the late producer’s legacy. The lineup saw a blend of Palestinian musicians and international icons — including Roger Waters, Tom Morello, Roger and Brian Eno — joining forces to champion equality. During the livestream, Morello debuted an unreleased song that paid homage to the problems musicians in Gaza currently face.
