A couple of frivolous clubbers have violated the cardinal rule of Las Vegas, to their own detriment. Twitter user @Investor_NICK_, a self-described tech investor, quickly learned what it’s like to ball without a budget at Sin City’s iconic Encore Beach Club. Proclaiming that “Vegas is back,” he posted a lengthy receipt from the luxury venue totaling near $8,700 in expense. Insomniac Announces Lineup for First-Ever Lost In Dreams Music Festival in Las Vegas
Earlier this year, EDC promoter Insomniac debuted its new electronic music record label and festival experience, Lost In Dreams. The brand launched as a dedicated one-stop-shop for all things future bass, melodic dubstep, and electronic-pop music with music from from Kaivon, Crystal Skies, and Haywyre, among others. Lost In Dreams will now go from URL to IRL after announcing its inaugural music festival, which will take over the Downtown Las Vegas Center this fall across two days, September 4th and 5th. Tyson Fury: I will still fight Anthony Joshua this year
Tyson Fury has insisted that he still intends to fight Anthony Joshua this year despite committing to a trilogy fight against Deontay Wilder in July. Only last weekend, Fury announced that his much-anticipated heavyweight showdown with Joshua would take place in Saudi Arabia in August. Soon afterwards, however, Wilder won an arbitration hearing which ruled that Fury was contractually obliged to fight him for a third time. Fury’s first bout against Wilder came in December 2018 and ended in a controversial draw. In the rematch last year, the self-styled Gypsy King stopped his opponent in round seven to win the WBC heavyweight and Ring magazine titles. Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium is set to pilot a new entertainment concept in the north end zone, effectively bringing the energy of a nightclub club directly to the football field. Wynn Resorts announced today that Wynn Field Club will be a new 11,000-square foot entertainment venue spanning the length of an entire end zone. The club dons a 45,000-watt sound system, four bars, and two DJ booths, which will be helmed by some of electronic music’s biggest names, according to Las Vegas Weekly. Insomniac has announced a major Las Vegas concert later this month with deadmau5 headlining and the legendary three-piece electronic music outfit Nero playing a supporting DJ set. Renowned techno producer and mau5trap mainstay No Mana will also perform at the show, which is scheduled for Friday, May 21st at Downtown Las Vegas Events Center and will kick off a series of Insomniac concerts across two weekends. It looks like fans itching for a Vegas trip can start their engines after Zouk Group revealed the dates of Tiësto and Zedd‘s summer residences for Resorts World Las Vegas. Both artists recently inked residencies for Las Vegas’ newest clubs, Zouk Nightclub and Ayu Dayclub, and are set to debut at the latter over July 4th Weekend. According to Electronic Vegas, Ayu Dayclub will initially be used for both daytime and nighttime events and will operate Thursday through Saturday.
