Life is Beautiful 2022: Arctic Monkeys, Gorillaz, Lorde & More to Play Vegas Festival

Las Vegas’ Life is Beautiful returns in September 2022 with a lineup let by Arctic Monkeys, Gorillaz, Lorde, Cage the Elephant, and Jack Harlow. The three-day festival takes place Friday, September 16th to Sunday, September 18th in downtown Vegas. Other notable acts playing include Calvin Harris, Migos, Beach House, Charli XCX, Big Boi, Alessia Cara, Wet Leg, Jungle, Sylvan Esso, Isaiah Rashad, Rico Nasty, Shaggy, Pussy Riot, JPEGMAFIA, Sam Fender, Kenny Hoopla, Dermot Kennedy, and more. The organizers of the music festival, which takes place in the heart of downtown Vegas, have now announced a huge lineup ahead of its 2022 edition. BTS Announce Las Vegas Concert Residency

BTS will head to Las Vegas this April for four big concerts. The aptly titled, “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LAS VEGAS” will take place April 8th, 9th, 15th, and 16th at Allegiant Stadium. In order to purchase tickets, fans must either be a member of BTS’ Global Official Fanclub ARMY, or register for Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan Pre-Sale. The registration period is now ongoing, with tickets available starting March 3rd. For those who are unable to secure a ticket, BTS will be simulcasting all four concerts at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. Additionally, the April 16th concert will be streamed live online. Rolling Stone Acquires Majority Stake In Las Vegas’ Life Is Beautiful Music Festival

After forging a decade of memories, Life Is Beautiful music festival will begin its next chapter with new direction and ownership.  Rolling Stone has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in the downtown Las Vegas-based festival. Founded in 2013 by the late Tony Hsieh, former CEO of Zappos, Life Is Beautiful has been a boon to downtown Las Vegas.  Most recently, the festival attracted over 170,000 attendees in 2021 with headliners such as Billie Eilish, Green Day, and Tame Impala. Per The Hollywood Reporter, the event has netted $350 million in aggregate revenue since its founding. Lady Gaga Announces 2022 Las Vegas Residency

Lady Gaga is making a return to Las Vegas in Spring 2022 for her latest residency. It begins in April at the same Park MGM hotel and casino that’s been home to her last several runs in the City of Sin. Her next round of “Jazz & Piano” performances kicks off on April 14th and runs through May 1st. According to the press release, the shows will “celebrate her love of the Great American Songbook” in addition to featuring selections from Love for Sale, her Grammy-nominated collaborative album with Tony Bennett. Music’s biggest night is moving to Las Vegas for the first time. A few weeks ago, the 2022 Grammy Awards ceremony was postponed “indefinitely” due to concerns about the Omicron variant of the coronavirus. Jason Derulo Gets Into Brawl with Two Men Who Called Him “Usher”

Jason Derulo was involved in an altercation with two men who heckled the singer by calling him Usher. The Las Vegas Police Department were called to the ARIA resort around 2:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday following a report that Derulo “committed a battery against two individuals,” according to USA Today. Footage of the incident obtained by TMZ shows one of the men yelling, “Hey, Usher! Fuck you, bitch!” as Derulo walked by. Derulo immediately charged at the man and threw a punch. He then went after a second man before ARIA security intervened.
