As electronic music artists continue to adopt NFTs to offer fans unique experiences, industry heavyweights and Bored Ape owners Kygo and Ryan Tedder are now making a collaborative foray into the Web3 space.  Kygo and the OneRepublic frontman are longtime creative collaborators, writing on a number of tracks and even performing together on Coachella’s main stage in 2018. Kygo Announces New Oceanfront Music Festival In Croatia

Following the success of his Cabo music festival getaway, Kygo is taking his paradise-like fest to Croatia later in 2022. Palm Tree Music Festival The Getaway: Croatia Edition will take place on Zrce Beach on the Adriatic island of Pag from August 27th to September 1st and feature a myriad of activities, like pool parties, catamarans and more. Attendees will also be able to add on some unique experiences, like a canoe safari on the Zrmanja River or an outing to Plitviče Lakes National Park and Olive Gardens of Lun. 3LAU‘s NFT marketplace has received another huge cash injection. Just months after a $16 millio investment, Royal has announced a $55 million funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz’s a16z Crypto fund. The Chainsmokers, Logic, Kygo, Nas, CAA, Crush Music, Coinbase Ventures, Founders Fund, NEA’s Connect Ventures, and Paradigm all participated, according to reports. “The value of music ownership is vastly misrepresented and undervalued today, but it won’t be for too much longer, as more musicians embrace the web3 ecosystem,” 3LAU wrote in a recent blog post. Ultra Music Festival Announces First Artists for 2022: See the Phase 1 Lineup

The journey to Ultra Music Festival is officially underway after organizers announced the first wave of artists to perform in 2022. Kygo and his Palm Tree Crew have met their moniker match in Cabo San Lucas, an upscale Mexican resort city home to seven whole species of coconut bearers. This Friday, Kygo will take over the Banc of California Stadium for the biggest show of his career. As many artists have done with their performances in the COVID-19 epoch, the tropical house star will be livestreaming the event in partnership with Moment House so fans all over the world can catch it from the seat of their pants.
