The previously announced Orphan Black sequel series coming to AMC has found its leading lady. Officially dubbed Orphan Black: Echoes, the series stars Krysten Ritter and is slated to premiere in 2023. Written and executive produced by Anna Fishko, Orphan Black: Echoes takes place in the near future and follows Ritter’s Lucy, “a woman with an unimaginable origin story.” The 10-episode series is said to take place in the same universe as the original Orphan Black, which followed Tatiana Maslany’s Sarah Manning as the leader of a pack of human clones, so that could clue you into Lucy’s origins.
