Kodak Black and two other people were shot following an altercation outside a Justin Bieber after party at The Nice Guy club in Los Angeles. As TMZ reports, the rapper was standing outside with fellow hip-hop artists Gunna and DaBaby, as well as other friends, when a fight broke out on the street that involved Kodak’s crew. The 24-year-old jumped in to help one of his guys and took a swing at the assailant. That’s when a gunman open fired. Local authorities say 10 shots were fired total. Kodak was hit in the leg by a bullet, and two other people, ages 19 and 60, were also shot. A fourth victim was injured in another way. Trump-supporting rapper Kodak Black was just honored with “Kodak Black Day” in the Sunshine State. A TMZ reports, June 11 is now Kodak Black Day in Broward County. Broward County Commissioner Dale Holness presented Kodak with the proclamation, stating June 11 will forever be known as a day honoring the rapper. Holness bestowed the honor on Kodak Friday at a charity basketball tourney in Coral Springs. Kodak was clearly moved, saying the proclamation means more to him than any platinum album. Rapper Kodak Black has pleaded guilty to first-degree assault and battery stemming from a 2016 incident where he was accused of sexually assaulting a high school student in a hotel room following a concert in South Carolina. The victim, according to 12th Circuit Solicitor Ed Clements (as cited by WBTW), was present on a screen and agreed to all conditions of the plea deal, which included the rapper pleading guilty to the lesser charge, taking responsibility for his actions, undergoing counseling, and publicly apologizing for his actions — which he did in the courtroom.
