News broke last week that Mike Judge and Greg Daniels were moving ahead with a long-rumored King of the Hill revival, but in a new interview with Collider, Daniels said we should probably hold our horses. “Well, here’s the weird thing about the way that article [in The Hollywood Reporter] ran is… there isn’t any change yet,” Daniels said. “We don’t have a deal to do it. I tell you what, co-creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels are in “hot negotiations” to revive King of the Hill and set it 15 years after the original. There had been discussions around a reboot of the beloved animated series in 2017, but momentum stalled at the time.
