FX Sets Premiere Date for Dave Season 2, Lil Nas X, Doja Cat, and J Balvin to Guest Star

Now, FX has set the premiere date for the new season and has announced an extensive list of guest stars, including Lil Nas X, Doja Cat, and J Balvin. Season 2 of Dave will premiere on June 16th at 10:00 p.m. EST on FX. As was the case with its initial season, the show will be available to stream the following day through Hulu as well. Personal Shopper For Kevin Hart Charged After $1M Credit Card Swindle

Source: NBC / Getty Kevin Hart is back in the news and not for his own legal woes, but this time those of someone who was once in his inner circle. A personal shopper hired by Hart racked up over $1 million in credit charges and was charged today in New York. In a press announcement from Queens County District Attorney Melinda Katz, 29-year-old Dylan Jason Syer of Long Island City in Queens was indicted and arraigned in Queens Supreme Court on grand larceny and related charges. Between October 2017 and February 2019, Syer made a number of fraudulent charges for personal gain while still performing the duties he was hired for by Hart. Kevin Hart Facing $390K Lawsuit For Missing Show Appearance

Source: NBC / Getty Kevin Hart just launched his new podcast series Inside Jokes with Kevin Hart this week on SiriusXM, but it appears he has some old business to handle as well. According to a new report, the comedian and actor is facing a lawsuit for allegedly ducking out on 2018 show appearance in New York after taking an advance. According to Page Six, Hart, 41, agreed to hold a standup event at Manhattan’s Highline Ballroom in July of 2018 after arranging a deal with AIM Hospitality Group LLC and president Maksim Vladimirskiy, the plaintiffs in the lawsuit. AIM and its team said that the group paid Hart an advance of $10,000 ahead of an agreed-upon rate of $26,000 for the Highline Ballroom appearance. According to Deadline, the pint sized superstar and his Hartbeat Productions entertainment company has just locked down a longterm deal with the chilled out streaming service that includes a four-picture commitment in which Hart will not only star in but produce himself. During a stand-up set over the weekend, Kevin Hart revealed that he battled COVID-19 earlier in the year. Hart shared the shocking revelation with attendees at Dave Chappelle’s An Intimate Socially Distanced Affair in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Will Smith and Kevin Hart Team Up for Planes, Trains and Automobiles Remake

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is getting a remake. As Deadline reports, Paramount Pictures has commissioned a modern update of John Hughes’ 1987 holiday classic with stars Will Smith and Kevin Hart in the lead. Brooklyn 99 and Woke writer Aeysha Carr will pen the script and make her feature film screenwriting debut. Not surprisingly, both Smith and Hart will also serve as producers on the project via Westbrook Studios and Hartbeat Productions, respectively. The original film starred Steve Martin and the late John Candy as two unlikely bedfellows who are forced to rely on each other as they find a way home before the Thanksgiving holiday.
