Kate Middleton Lit Up the James Bond Red Carpet in a Glittering Gold Jenny Packham Gown

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, attended her first red carpet event in quite a while, and she certainly made an entrance. The duchess wore an opulent gold gown to the premiere of No Time to Die at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday, 28 Sept. There’s always a subtle reference with Kate’s statement outfits, and the James Bond premiere was no different. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that the twisted-front design and general silhouette of her dress was very similar to the gown Princess Diana wore to the 1985 premiere of another James Bond film, A View to a Kill. Kate’s gold Jenny Packham gown was likely a custom creation as it takes design cues from Packham’s Simona, Christina, and Margot gowns from the designer’s autumn/winter 2021 collection, according to Wh...

K-Mids Just Wore an Amazing Pair of Jeans—and They’re & Other Stories

We love it when Kate Middleton breaks out of what we usually see her in. For as long as we can remember, the Duchess of Cambridge has been solidly dedicated to her dark skinny jeans (a true millennial). In fact, we can’t recall a time when she’s worn jeans that weren’t skinny. But today is a new day that has brought us the DoC in a pair of slim-fit straight-leg blue jeans, and we’re here for it. Even more so because they come from & Other Stories at an affordable price of £65.  K-Mids was out visiting the Urban Nature Project at the Natural History Museum and opted for a casual look that included a rather swish Chloé blazer, a white ribbed top, Vejas and those blue jeans. Our eagle-eyed editors at Who What Wear reckon the jeans in question ar...

DJ Duchess: Here’s a Video of Kate Middleton Trying to Make an Electronic Beat

After Kate Middleton was spotted attempting to DJ, it’s clear that the Duchess of Cambridge won’t be headlining EDC Vegas anytime soon. Middleton tried to craft an electronic beat live during a recent visit to Heavy Sound, an organization that provides a safe space for kids to engage in creative arts in partnership with the Scottish Violence Reduction Unit, a public health organization tackling violence in Scotland. Many clips circulating on social media show her playing around on an audio control panel, on which she tries to program a bassline with a drum loop. The videos are short, but five seconds is all you need to realize the Duchess won’t be producing festival bangers. Prince William realized this immediately, quipping, “Please turn that off, it̵...

So to have M&S and Ghost collaborate on an accessible and size-inclusive collection to celebrate our spring and summer debuts? The Iconic High Street Dress Brand That Comes K-Mids-Approved

In the ’90s, Ghost was one of the first places you’d visit when looking for a new dress, as its silky slip dresses were the height of cool. However, the brand gradually became seen as a destination for pastel bridesmaid frocks and occasion-wear only. But Ghost has become cool again over the couple of years thanks to a reboot of its button-front tea dresses and silky midi dresses. And our team, like the many influencers we follow on Instagram, are all in agreement that this is now one of the very best places to snap up a quality, classic dress design in 2021. And it turns out Kate Middleton agrees, as the royal is often spotted out and about in the brand’s designs, such as the blue floral £90 Anouk dress she wore to stand outsid...

Is Kate Middleton Wearing Her Purple Gucci Blouse Backwards? Fans Are Convinced

Image Source: Getty / Neil Mockford Kate Middleton seems to have her own unique way of styling her purple Gucci blouse. The Duchess of Cambridge wore the pussy-bow blouse during a November Q&A for her Early Years campaign on Instagram and previously for a visit to the Henry Fawcett Children’s Centre in March 2019 — but fans and publications noticed Catherine was wearing the blouse in the reverse way that it appeared on the runway and retailer’s websites. First pointed out in March 2019 by a fan who tweeted, “It’s the end of the day and I just realized that I’m wearing my pants backwards which is very interesting because recently a Kate Middleton wore her Gucci blouse backwards. That’s right I made the same mistake as a PRINCESS,” the astute obs...

The Duchess of Cambridge Wore the Most Festive Tartan Face Mask From Designer Emilia Wickstead

The Duchess of Cambridge has certainly pulled out all of her most festive outfits for her and Prince William’s three-day Royal Train tour of the UK, and that includes festive face masks. The tour is set to cover 1,250 miles over three days to thank individuals and communities for their work during the coronavirus pandemic. Whilst the focus is, of course, on the work the couple is doing, we can’t help but obsess over the duchess’s festive outfits. From her favourite winter coats, red-and-green tartan scarves, and one very cosy fair isle jumper, Catherine’s certainly making us feel joyful and ready for the festive season. But it’s not just the duchess’s coats and scarves making us feel merry and bright — her face masks are also giving off Christmas-y vibes...

Kate Middleton Loves Her Blue Catherine Walker Coat So Much, She Re-Wore It Two Years Later

Much like her late mother-in-law Princess Diana, the Duchess of Cambridge loves a smart, tailored coat by Catherine Walker. Kate Middleton has worn the designer for countless public engagements, ever since her very first royal tour with Prince William in 2011. But of all the gorgeous outerwear she has worn by the designer, there is one piece that Kate seems to love the most — the cerulean blue Catherine Walker coat. For Kate’s latest outing with the blue coat, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Scotland for the first day of their Royal Train Tour. The Duchess paired her sleek coat with black leather gloves, a black Strathberry Multrees Chain Wallet clutch, and black suede Ralph Lauren Collection boots. The first time we’ve seen Kate in the Catherine Walker coat was in...

The Duchess of Cambridge Brought Out Her Most Festive Outfits For the Royal Train Tour

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s three day tour aboard the Royal Train takes the couple through England, Scotland, and Wales and is a way to “pay tribute to the incredible work of individuals and organisations that have gone above and beyond in response to the coronavirus pandemic,”according to Kensington Palace. And whilst the focus of the tour is on the amazing work of the charities and frontline and essential workers, we couldn’t help but notice Catherine’s many festive outfits on the trip. From cosy fair isle jumpers and red and green tartan scarves to the array of statement-making coats she’s pulled from her wardrobe, the Duchess’s ensembles for this minitour are definitely making us feel merry and bright. From the very start of the tour — ...

Kate Middleton Has Been Wearing This 2021 Boot Trend For Years

If I had to describe Kate Middleton’s style, in a word, I’d say traditional. The Duchess rarely strays from classic wardrobe essentials that define polish and sophistication. Tailored separates, straight-leg jeans, a-line dresses, double-breasted coats and more are among her repertoire of timeless styles, which she rotates occasion after occasion.  With an aesthetic so enduring, it would be fair to say that Middleton rarely follows trends. But, by contrast, it seems that at times, trends follow her. Most recently, this can be seen within her penchant for riding boots.  Kate Middleton has been a fan of riding boots for years and has been spotted in the same brown leather pair on more than a few occasions. Often worn for royal appearances, the Duchess gen...

The Duchess of Cambridge’s Cute Baby Blue Cardigan Is Still Available for £75

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge connected with one of the finalists for her Hold Still portrait campaign with the National Portrait Gallery. The Duchess held a video call with Johannah Churchill whose portrait, “Melanie, March 2020”, was selected as one of one hundred photographs to represent the UK’s lockdown experience. To celebrate the occasion, Catherine wore an affordable powder blue cardigan from homegrown sustainable brand Boden. “Thank you for being part of Hold Still 2020!”, said Kensington Royal on social media. “The portraits that illustrate your stories and experiences of lockdown have shown just how much communities have come together during this difficult year. For the past four weeks, our community exhibition has taken the final one hundre...
