Kaskade Teases New Album In 2022

There simply aren’t many artists as determined as Kaskade in the electronic music scene. At age 50 and with more accolades than a Tom Brady trophy case, Kaskade seems to be hellbent on growth at this juncture of his storied career. He continues to challenge the limitations of what dance music artists can achieve, such as a historic performance at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and a momentous merch collab with DC Comics and Superman. The iconic “Eyes” producer now has his sights set on 2022, taking to Twitter to tease a brand new album. Kaskade recently announced that he was releasing a reimagined version of Fire & Ice, his 7th studio album, before releasing a “v3” version of one of its standouts, “Turn It Down.” If he does indeed d...

Kaskade Is Releasing a Reimagined Version of His Iconic “Fire and Ice” Album

Kaskade‘s Fire & Ice album from 2011 is getting reworked in a big way.  The iconic “Room for Happiness” producer took to social media last week to announce version three of his seminal Fire and Ice album, noting that some of the songs will include vocals from the original singer-songwriters. “If you remember or if you were here in Southern California, I had a Fire & Ice 10-year anniversary party,” Kaskade says in his video. “In preparation for that show I was at the studio one day all stressed out. I was here trying to figure out the vibe for what I was going to do that day. In that process I started thinking, ‘What if I just remade the record? What if I made new versions?'” “I’ve been road-testing a bunch of new...

Watch Kaskade Perform From a Bird’s-Eye View of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge

Kaskade may be positioning himself as a wonder of the modern musical world.  As the lack of in-person shows persisted through 2020, Kaskade wholly embraced the idea of bringing dance music where it hasn’t gone before, and if recent events are any indication, his appetite for adventure remains alive and well.  First, he brought his show to the breathtaking Grand Canyon—one of the seven wonders of the natural world—where he performed atop a transparent, horseshoe-shaped walkway made of glass. Now, he’s checking off another box by playing at one of the seven wonders of the modern world: the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge.
