Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban to Return for New Star Trek Movie

A new Star Trek movie is in the works from WandaVision director Matt Shakman, and the old USS Enterprise gang are preparing to boldly go (again). Per The Hollywood Reporter, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, and John Cho are in talks to reprise their roles in the franchise after starring in its last three films. Paramount executive Brian Robbins and producer J.J. Abrams announced the return of the cast during an investors event Tuesday (February 15th). The Boys Season 2 Premiere Date Announced, First Three Minutes Revealed: Watch

Amazon Prime has announced the Season 2 premiere of The Boys. The superhero deconstruction from Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and Eric Kripke returns September 4th with three new episodes. Future episodes will then be released weekly through October 9th. The release date was announced during a virtual reunion of the show’s cast hosted by Patton Oswalt, who joins the new season as Tek Knight, a superhero who can only fly in space. Everybody is keeping in touch with old friends these days. As it turns out, so are some fellas from Middle Earth. This Sunday, the cast of The Lord of the Rings will reunite for a special livestream — because apparently Gollum’s nonstop reading of The Hobbit was only the beginning. The epic reunion is the latest installment in Josh Gad’s ongoing series “Reunited Apart”, which has already brought together the cast of The Goonies and Back to the Future during this period of self-isolation.
