Fans of motorsports and electronic music alike will have the chance to experience an extremely rare performance this summer. Later this year, GRIDLIFE Midwest will return for another action-packed outing celebrating electronic music and adrenaline-fueled racing. While they’ve hosted some incredible artists in past iterations, organizers have outdone themselves by announcing a performance by French synthwave pioneer Kavinsky. ABOUT THE FESTIVAL HARDFEST 2021 happened this weekend for the first time in two years, with an expanded venue size and a stacked lineup of electronic, rap and pop acts. The most important thing to note was that all sets had exceptional sound quality and the acts delivered their performances to bustling crowds filled with totems, dancing and spray-bottles. The HARD fairgrounds are completely made up of black-top and the grounds were well-organized with water stations, AstroTurf rest areas, colorful lights, food trucks, and even several “vaccination stations.” The infamous San Bernardino heat became manageable after 5 PM and even comfortable after sundown. HARD Summer is officially back and stronger than ever. 12th Planet, NGHTMRE, More to Perform at Socially Distanced “Pod Experience” in Utah
A bevy of the brightest artists in bass music have been announced as performers at Singularity, an upcoming socially distanced “pod experience” in Utah. The lineup for the music event, which will go down in Grantsville’s Utah Motorsports Campus facility, features 12th Planet, NGHTMRE, WHIPPED CREAM, and Habstrakt, among many other major electronic music artists. The music festival will also feature a collaborative DJ set from JOYRYDE and Ghastly, whose performance is billed as GHOST RYDR. Singularity is scheduled for April 30th to May 2nd, 2021. Over the past few months, Insomniac has been hosting their Electric Mile drive-thru experience. At the reoccurring event, fans are able to drive through a one-hour course featuring festival-grade production and sound from the promoter. Earlier in the week, in an effort to showcase the beauty of the experience, they recruited JOYRYDE for a new livestreamed performance from the back of a car traveling through the Electric Mile. Insomniac Announces Halloween “Park ‘N Rave” Drive-In Festival
After the successful launch of its weekly “Park ‘N Rave” concert series, Insomniac Events has floored the pedal of its foray into the drive-in show scene with its latest installment—a special Halloween edition. Dubbed “BOO!,” the two-day festival will go down Friday, October 30th and Saturday, October 31st at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, California.
