Source: Bruce Glikas / Getty Fired NBC host Megyn Kelly is back in the headlines for once again making racially disparaging remarks. Via an interview with right-wing show, America This Week with host Eric Bolling, the disgraced journalist complained during the chat about President-elect Joe Biden‘s call for unity after more than four years of division caused mostly in part by the Trump presidency. “All of a sudden they want unity on the left when they’ve spent the last four years calling everyone who’s a Trump supporter misogynists or homophobic or xenophobic or bigoted or the list goes on and on,” Bolling opened the discussion by saying. While unity is the message being made loud and clear by the Biden Administration, Trump’s message of “voter fraud” while causing ...

Who Runs The World: Black & Latina Women Are Starting A Revolution Without White Women

Source: Tom Williams / Getty Black and Latina women are setting the political sphere ablaze and we love to see it. After the historic turnout for both groups during the 2020 Presidential Election, both Black and Brown women have taken notice of their political influence and intend to spark change. While the revolution is, in theory, going forward without the overt assistance of white women, many will be involved because of their sheer numbers, but overall the last two elections have proven that Black and Brown women have a voice loud enough to march on its own. As Dahleen Glanton points out in her op-ed for the Chicago Tribune, “the mere thought of Black women and Latinas coming together to chart the course of the country terrifies many in mainstream America. Already, some on social ...

You are too often overlooked and yet are asked time and again to step up and be the backbone of our democracy. We could not have done this without you.” I want to speak directly to the Black women in our country. Thank you. You are too often overlooked, and yet are asked time and ag...

US election: Donald Trump makes first appearance since ‘defeat’

US President Donald Trump makes his first official post-election appearance Wednesday for what should be a moment of national unity to mark Veteran’s Day, now marred by his refusal to acknowledge Joe Biden’s win. The president visited Arlington National Cemetery around 11:00 am, four days after US media projected his Democratic rival would take the White House. Since then he has not addressed the nation other than via Twitter, and has not conceded to Biden, as is traditional once a winner is projected in a US vote. And with Covid-19 cases shattering records across the country and states imposing new restrictions in a push to contain the virus before winter arrives, Trump seems to have all but shelved normal presidential duties. Instead, he has remained shut up inside the presidential mansi...

If you live in NYC, you more than likely heard the cheers, co...

US election crimes director resigns after Donald Trump’s attorney general authorises probes

The top federal investigator of election crimes in the US has resigned just hours after Donald Trump’s attorney general William Barr authorised probes into claims of voter fraud. Richard Pilger, director of the election crimes branch of the Department of Justice, stepped down from the post he has held since 2010 on Monday. The branch director, Richard Pilger, handed in his resignation within hours of Barr’s authorization.
