Celebrities had a shaky year promoting crypto firms and projects throughout 2022. Many found themselves named in lawsuits over their alleged promotion of since-failed projects, while others have been relentlessly mocked on social media for their involvement in the first place. From movie stars to television actors, sports stars to musicians, many celebrities may be regretting their endorsement deals last year, though that’s not to say that there haven’t been exceptions. Who got burned? In February last year, American comedian Larry David, who co-created the television series Seinfeld, appeared in a Super Bowl commercial for now-defunct crypto exchange FTX that encouraged users not to “miss out on the next big thing.” [embedded content] David has since been named in a class-action law...

Selena Gomez and Rose Byrne will appear as the guests on October 26th, and the week will conclude with an appearance from Millie Bobby Brown on October 27th. Midnights, Swift’s 10th album, follows her pandemic projects folklore and evermore. In a statement, the artist said the record was about “13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life.” “This is a collection of ...
During his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night (June 28th), actor Steve Carell recalled the time he waited on his look-alike, rocker Alice Cooper. In the same conversation, Carell also offered up a hilarious impression of Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler. While Carell was on the Tonight Show to promote his new movie Minions: The Rise of Gru, Fallon busted out side-by-side images of The Office star and the veteran shock rocker, clearly displaying the uncanny resemblance. The late-night host wondered if Carell ever met the rock legend, and it turns out he did. “I met Alice Cooper,” responded Carell. “I waited on him when I was working in Chicago, when I was waiting tables. I was working at a restaurant, and he came in. And he was Alice Cooper. And he could...
Nick Jonas has taken to parenthood like a pop star takes to a mic. It comes naturally. The Jonas Brother and Priyanka Chopra became parents when they welcomed Malti Marie Chopra Jonas via surrogate in January. Complications followed, however, and their bub spent more than 100 days in the newborn intensive care unit. Thankfully “our little girl’s home and she’s doing amazing,” Jonas told Jimmy Fallon when he stopped by The Tonight Show on Tuesday (May 17). “It’s just, what a gift a baby is. It really is.” And how are the JoBros as uncles? “Amazing,” we’re told. It’s a New Year and Jimmy Fallon is clearly enjoying his new NBC show, That’s My Jam. On Monday night’s episode, The Tonight Show host roped-in a starry lineup for a round of “Slay It Don’t Spray It,” a game which puts contestants’ lyrical skills to the test. Failure is met with a mighty squirt to the face. Entering the Doombox was the pairing of singer Rita Ora and New Zealand filmmaker Taika Waititi, who faced off against Empire actor Taraji P. Henson and pop star Normani. It didn’t start so well for Normani and Taraji, who tackled Jennifer Lopez’s “Waiting for Tonight.” It didn’t end well either, as both were slammed with water. Explore See latest videos, charts and news See latest videos, charts and news Next up, Taika and Rita hit ABBA’s “Dancing Queen”. They did a good job. So good, ...
Though he’ll portray a new member of the Tijuana cartel, the singer assures us he’s really a good guy in real life. “The character is a cool, young guy, and I’m a cool guy, I think so,” he said. In addition, BB talked about his WWE wrestling experience and looking forward to his touring comeback. “I’m crazy to start my tour, it’ll be epic,” he noted about his first show in two years set to take place on Dec. 10 in Puerto Rico. “It’s going to be special, legendary. My shows are always energetic but Puerto Rico, that’s my home, so I’m going to give it my all.” Fallon also tried to get details on a potential studio album for 2022. “Nah, I don’t know. I’m working on it,” Bunny admitted. “I don’t have a date. We’re working but maybe I’ll send some clues. I’m not sure.” Watch the full interview ...
When faced with a slow number, Siwa lifted it a notch. Fallon was beat. “Every time you come on the show, we do a little dance off. And you always crush me,” Fallon said afterwards. “I just got my breath,” he continued. “The audience knows, but during the commercial break they came out with an oxygen tank. And it was sad.” For Siwa, it was a neat warmup for the real thing. She’ll participate on Dancing With the Stars, starting Monday (her partner in the series is female. They’re the first same-sex coupling on DWTS, apparently), a tour is set to begin in January, and her musical film The J Team is new to Paramount+. There’s no update, however, on whether she’ll be allowed to perform J Team numbers on her tour. Watch Siwa and Fallon’s dance-off and interview below. You Dese...
Last night, NBC rang in the 1,500th episode (!) of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with help from Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington. To celebrate the milestone, the TV star broke out a bold cover of “Drops of Jupiter” by Train while playing (?) the piano. Harington puts his whole self into the rendition, which you can see for yourself when watching the performance below. The video opens on Harington, dressed in a black suit and playing a grand piano covered in flower petals and burning candles. After the opening section, Harington immediately starts belting out the lyrics to “Drops of Jupiter” so loudly that you can see the veins popping out of his neck. Once the rest of Fallon’s band starts playing the backing track, Harington doubles down, his face turning red at points as he si...
