Jessica Audiffred and Sara Benyo have teamed up to drop one last emotive banger before the year comes to a close. Released in the midst of Audiffred’s run of sold-out shows and major festival appearances comes her latest collaboration, “Never Be the Same.” Opening with the sounds of a thunderstorm beneath Benyo’s heartfelt vocals, the track takes its time to let us bask in its somber atmosphere crafted by the duo. The latest from Excision’s venerated Subsidia label is “Rise,” a big dubstep track produced by the label’s founder in collaboration with Jessica Audiffred. The triple-threat collab also features Leah Culver, one of the most renowned vocalists in the electronic music scene. Philly’s HiJinx NYE music festival is ready for its grand return to tie a bow on 2021. According to a press release issued to announce the event, which is scheduled for December 30th and 31st at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, the two-day affair promises “jaw-dropping stage production featuring the best lighting, sound, and visuals in the country.” The fest’s lineup is bass music galore, featuring a number of dubstep and future bass heavy-hitters as headliners.
