Jane Fonda is celebrating the “best birthday present ever” after learning that her cancer is in remission. The iconic actor will turn 85 on December 21st. She shared her lymphoma diagnosis in September and underwent several rounds of chemotherapy, but in a new Instagram post, she was able to add a happy update to the story. “Last week I was told by my oncologist that my cancer is in remission and I can discontinue chemo,” she wrote. “I am feeling so blessed, so fortunate. Jane Fonda Diagnosed with Lymphoma

Jane Fonda has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. The 84-year-old actress revealed the news in a note posted to Instagram on Friday (September 2nd). Fonda was quick to point out that non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma is a “very treatable cancer” with an 80% survival rate. (Fellow actor Jeff Bridges was diagnosed with the same illness in 2020 and is currently in remission.)
