Dead & Company have announced a 2022 Summer tour. The Grateful Dead offshoot, which features Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, and Bob Weir alongside John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge, and Jeff Chimenti, will kick off the 20-date outing at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium on June 11th. The itinerary also includes multiple dates at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA; Folsom Field in Boulder, CO; Chicago’s Wrigley Field; and Citi Field in New York City. A Ticketmaster Verified Fan pre-sale will begin Tuesday, April 5th at 10:00 a.m. local time. Fans can register for access now through Sunday, April 3rd. Phish frontman Trey Anastasio has announced his first solo acoustic album, Mercy, arriving this Friday, March 11th. Phish to Livestream Three Full Sets on New Year’s Eve

Like many other bands, Phish responded to the omicron surge by postponing their planned residency at Madison Square Garden. Now, the jam band has announced they are offering fans the next best thing: a New Year’s Eve livestream. Beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET on December 31st, Phish will play three full sets without an audience from the Ninth Cube. Fans can livestream the show for free on the band’s YouTube channel and LivePhish.com. It will also be broadcast on SiriusXM’s Phish Radio. Phish Postpone New Year’s Run at Madison Square Garden Due to Omicron Surge

Due to the surge of the omicron variant in New York City, Phish have postponed their New Year’s run at Madison Square Garden. The jam band legends had been scheduled to play a four-night residency at the Garden from December 29th to January 1st. One Person Killed, Two Injured in Separate Falls at Phish Concert

One person died and two others were injured in separate falls during a Phish concert in San Francisco on Sunday. According to KPIX 5, a man fell from the upper-level section of the Chase Center during Phish’s first of two sets. “Medics arrived and immediately provided medical treatment, but despite the efforts of the emergency responders the victim succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased,” a San Francisco police spokesperson said. About an hour later, a second man fell from the 200s section and onto another man below. Both men were taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Man Dies After Falling off Balcony at Dead and Company Concert

A man died Friday after falling off a balcony at New York’s Citi Field during a Dead and Company concert. A police source told the New York Daily News that the man “attempted a body flip, fell, and landed on the balcony below.” He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The man, who was in his 40s and from Brooklyn, was possibly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the fall, police say.
