Celebrating a decade of groundbreaking events, Brownies & Lemonade has released a specially curated megamix. B&L tells us they asked their “most important artists over the last decade” to create 10-minute mixes. The brand then integrated each to produce “10 for 10,” a massive mix spanning over 100 tracks that defined the last decade for EDM.com’s Best Event Organizer of 2022. Beloved in the electronic dance music community for their curation of once-in-a-lifetime, creator-driven experiences—like Wonderland’s laundromat rave and Holo’s elevator pop-up—B&L soared to new heights this year. In order to meet the moment, B&L sought the help of Alison Wonderland, Louis The Child, GRiZ, Madeon, ISOxo, Jai Wolf, Wuki, What So Not, Wax Motif an...
If music were water, Colorado would never run dry. It’s no secret that Colorado is a hub for electronic music. And its most iconic venue, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, is its biggest purveyor. Celebrated for its natural acoustics, which are made possible by two giant monoliths flanking the amphitheater, the open air venue is one of those ineffable places that consistently manufactures “you had to be there” moments. Ergo, only those who have attended an electronic dance music show at Red Rocks can attest how special it is. Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. Ryan Loughlin Recommended Articles And the EDM community has a lot to look forward to in 2022. Red Rocks is set host a litany of remarkable concerts, which will feature Porter Robinson, Kraftwerk, Zeds Dead and man...

The record is jam-packed, consisting of 15 tracks from a number of the brand’s high-profile names such as Kasbo, MEMBA, Robotaki, and many more. Doubling down on the success of his radiant sophomore album Parachute, French electronic music wunderkind Petit Biscuit has released official remixes from two dance music heavyweights. Petit Biscuit tapped electronic music vets Big Gigantic for a remix of the album’s titular track, “Parachute.” Eschewing their penchant for soaring sax and thumping 808s, the duo produced a scintillating house rework that churns along with fluttering arpeggios and bubbly synth stabs. Bulldozing the intersection of electronic and ambient music just like Petit Biscuit, Jai Wolf flipped Parachute cut “Drivin Thru the Night” into a synth-pop stunner. Rife with vintage retrowave influences, Wolf’s rendition dunks PB’s aching vocals in an indie batter, ...
For melodic electronica producer Jai Wolf, a new remix has been long overdue, spotted during his soaring live sets yet unavailable as official releases. Luckily, that all changed this weekend with the release of a rework of keshi‘s “blue,” a blissful take on the largely acoustic original. Released January 8th via Island Records, the track is Wolf’s first official remix in four years. Originally out last year via keshi’s five-track bandaids EP, this new reimagining keeps intact the song’s guiding guitar melody while pitching up and layering its vocal line. Reminiscent of the artist’s early work on “Like It’s Over” with MNDR and especially a now-vintage remix of “Feels” by Kiiara, Wolf gent...
