Instagram last week launched a new short-video feature called Reels — capitalizing on demand in the market amid privacy concerns surrounding TikTok and a looming ban of the ByteDance-owned app — and it’s already facing troubles of its own. ReelzChannel says the feature’s name infringes on its longstanding trademark. The network, which launched in 2006, says it reaches more than 50 million homes in the U.S. The suit, which was filed Tuesday in Minnesota federal court, where the network’s parent company Hubbard Broadcasting is based, claims Reels usurps Reelz’ goodwill and is likely to confuse consumers. {“nid”:”9429589″,”type”:”post”,”title”:”Instagram Launches TikTok Competitor Reels”...

Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz When 50 Cent speaks people listen but when he posts the world takes notice. He now thinks one of the most popular social media apps is limiting his reach. As spotted on HipHopDX, the Queens native is now claiming that Instagram has shadow banned him. The term speaks to when a user has been restricted to how many people can see their feed via searchable hashtags. Curtis came to this conclusion after he noticed his followers have not increased within the last year. He detailed his gripes in typical Fif fashion. “I have been shadow banned this page has been stuck at 25 million for a year,” he wrote. “Smh but i’m every where so i don’t care. #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi #Starz #ABCforlife #Ghost #RasinigKanan #BMF.” Instagram addressed some user concern...

The Ivorian international revealed he learned of the news after being sent a tweet by a friend and had to break the news to his mother. But despite the pain of the situation, Aurier insists he does not feel any ‘hatred’ towards the killer. Speaking to French publication La Depeche, Aurier said: ‘It was 7am. I was in bed at home when a friend sent me the image of a tweet. ‘I asked if he was ...
