After teasing their return to Europe last week, Insomniac has officially unveiled the next entry in the EDC Europe saga. In June 2021, organizers and fans will be celebrating 25 years of the venerated promoter’s flagship event in Portugal. The momentous festival will mark the first EDC event in Portugal in the illustrious brand’s quarter-of-a-century run. On Twitter, Insomniac shared a teaser video announcing the dates and location. Final Day of Insomniac’s Nocturnal Wonderland Virtual Rave-A-Thon is Now Live

Following the earth-rattling (you’ll understand that joke in a moment) launch of the Nocturnal Wonderland Virtual Rave-A-Thon, Insomniac is primed for a monster final day with some larger-than-life performances on tap. The first day featured massive DJ sets from the likes of Drezo, Benny Benassi, Nitti Gritti, Borgore, Modestep, and GG Magree, with the latter performing through a small earthquake at one point. Insomniac Teases “Very Special Location” in Europe to Celebrate 25-Year Anniversary of EDC

To celebrate the momentous 25th anniversary of its illustrious EDC brand, Insomniac is returning to Europe to further expand the festival’s horizons. Insomniac representatives took to the company’s EDC Las Vegas Twitter account, among other social media platforms, to tease a “VERY special location” in Europe to commemorate the landmark milestone. “It’s been an incredible 25 year journey with so many of YOU beautiful people from around the Globe. Insomniac Announces the Return of Nocturnal Wonderland

Insomniac recently announced that their Southern California festival, Nocturnal Wonderland, will make its grand return in 2021. On Instagram, founder Pasquale Rotella shared details of next year’s event alongside footage of previous iterations.  Although it’s still more than a year away, Rotella has already spoken about planned improvements to the festival’s campground after receiving feedback from previous attendees. Amid a year of cancellations due to the impact of COVID-19, Insomniac is planning to bounce back in 2021 with Day Trip, an oceanfront music festival dedicated to house. Insomniac has officially pulled the plug on the 2020 edition of EDC Las Vegas due to the impact of COVID-19.
