The countdown to Countdown NYE is officially on. Insomniac has announced a massive lineup for the 2021 edition of the SoCal New Year’s Eve event, which will expand back to two-days on December 31st and January 1st. The alien-themed music festival annually takes place at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino. Scheduled to perform at the largest New Year’s Eve dance music event in the U.S. are REZZ, Flux Pavilion, deadmau5, Flosstradamus, Tiësto, NGHTMRE, Alan Walker, RL Grime, and many more in a lineup that doubles as a who’s who of EDM’s most popular artists. This afternoon, Insomniac announced that tickets to the next edition of their long-running flagship music festival are on sale now. Those who purchase soon can take advantage of their “early owl” pricing, which typically offers some of the lowest prices headliners can find. Like previous years, those interested can start layaway plans that only require an initial deposit of $10. Pandemic be damned, EDC Las Vegas fans can now mark their calendars for the festival’s 2022 edition. According to an email sent to ticket-holders for the 2021 fest, the 2022 iteration of EDC Las Vegas has been scheduled for May 20-22. Insomniac Announces Vaccination and Testing Mandate for All Events, Including EDC Las Vegas

As music festival organizers continue to navigate the complexities of COVID-19 restrictions, the nation’s largest electronic dance music event promoter has announced new safety measures impacting all of its fests. According to CEO Pasquale Rotella, Insomniac Events will now require prospective attendees to provide proof of full vaccination (both jabs) or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of any given event.
