Rammstein Recorded a New Album They “Hadn’t Planned On” During Lockdown

Rammstein did indeed record a new album during lockdown, affirms keyboardist Christian “Flake” Lorenz in a new interview. The confirmation comes after the German industrial metal band had shared images from the studio last year. Originally, Rammstein had intended to spend much of 2020 on the road, including their first-ever full-scale stadium tour of North America. Due to the pandemic, touring was put on hold, and the band found itself with a lot of time on its hands. Instead of sitting around waiting for concerts to resume, Rammstein hit the studio and recorded a very quick (especially by their standards) follow-up to their 2019 untitled album. “The fact that we couldn’t perform live increased our creativity,” Flake told the German website Motor Music. “We had more time to think of new th...

Marilyn Manson Abused and Threatened to Kill His Current Wife, Claims Ex-Assistant

Dan Cleary, a former personal assistant for Marilyn Manson, alleges that the rocker abused and threatened to kill his current wife, Lindsay Usich. The revelation comes weeks after Manson’s ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood,  former girlfriend Esmé Bianco, and several other women accused the singer of abuse. Cleary, who initially worked as a a keyboard tech on Manson’s touring crew, served as his personal assistant from 2014 to 2015. He claimed on his Rare Form Radio podcast (via Huffington Post) that during that time he saw Manson be abusive to his “then girlfriend” and “now wife”. “I saw some physical abuse as far as like pushing and throwing things at her and a lot of like violent outbursts around her ― breaking things,” Cleary claimed. “A lot of mental abuse and name-calling and thr...

Game of Thrones’ Esmé Bianco Calls Marilyn Manson a “Monster Who Almost Destroyed Me”

Esmé Bianco, who played the character of Ros on Game of Thrones, has accused Marilyn Manson of abuse, going as far to describe him as a “monster who almost destroyed me.” The British actress’ claims come a week after Manson’s former fiancée Evan Rachel Wood and four other women alleged that too they were abused by the shock rocker. In a tell-all interview with New York magazine’s The Cut, Bianco details a tumultuous relationship with Manson. While she had already known him platonically for a few years, things got physical in 2009 on a video shoot for his song “I Want to Kill You Like They Do in the Movies”. The actress says Manson’s violence against her began during the making of the video, when he told her, “You are gonna have to pretend to like being manhandled by me.” As Bianco rec...

Corey Feldman Accuses Marilyn Manson of “Decades Long Mental and Emotional Abuse”

In the days since Evan Rachel Wood publicly accused Marilyn Manson of “horrifically” abusing her for years, a number of other former associates have come forward to share harrowing experiences with the rocker. Among them is actor Corey Feldman, who accuses Manson of “decades long mental and emotional abuse.” Feldman, who starred in classic ’80s films like The Goonies, The Lost Boys, and Stand by Me, has penned a lengthy post on Instagram detailing the alleged abuse he suffered at the hands of Manson over the course of their relationship. Alongside an image of the two together, Feldman tells a story of how Manson tried to manipulate him into breaking five years of sobriety back when the singer was promoting his 1998 album Mechanical Animals. The post also details how Manson once k...

Evan Rachel Wood Shares More Details About Marilyn Manson’s Abusive Behavior

Evan Rachel Wood has revealed more details about the horrific abuses she allegedly endured from her ex-fiancée, Marilyn Manson. After naming him as her abuser earlier this week, she now’s accusing him of being viciously anti-Semitic and having repeatedly used the N-word during their relationship. In a series of Instagram stories, the 33-year-old claimed that in addition to emotionally and sexually abusing her, Manson was hatefully prejudice against her because of her Jewish heritage. “I was called a ‘jew’ in a derogatory manner,” she wrote in one Instagram story. “He would draw swastikas over my bedside table when he was mad at me.” She continued, “I heard the ‘n’ word over and over. Everyone around him was expected to laugh and join in. If you did not or (god forbid) called him out, you w...

Rammstein’s Till Lindemann Sells “Tilldo” Vibrators and “Golden Shower” Wine

Rammstein singer Till Lindemann has opened his own online merch shop, dubbed Doctor Dick, and let’s just say it has a wide variety of handy products. Among the items are a custom “Tilldo” vibrator and a “Golden Shower” wine. Anyone who has seen Rammstein in concert knows that erotica plays a big part in their stage show. What other bands feature a giant dildo that explodes white foam onto the audience? Or have actually had two members (including Till) arrested for simulating sex with each other onstage? Earlier this year, Lindemann’s eponymous side project even unveiled a full-on pornographic music video for the song “Platz Ein”. So, none of the things you see for sale at the singer’s new merch store should come as any shock, but you still may want to think twice about shopping at Doctor D...

Corey Taylor Stars in Horror Film Bad Candy, Says Slipknot Could Release New Album in 2021

Longtime horror cinephile Corey Taylor has filmed a starring role in the upcoming movie Bad Candy alongside Zach Galligan of Gremlins fame. In addition to discussing the film, Taylor hinted in a separate interview that Slipknot could release their next album in 2021. The movie is structured in the classic horror anthology format. Taylor plays a radio DJ who weaves scary stories to his listeners — a task well-suited for the voice of Slipknot — with his co-host (played by Galligan). In a Creepshow-inspired twist, the stories come to life in graphic reenactments that owe much to the great horror films of yore such as Halloween and, of course, Gremlins. “It’s a pretty cool little horror movie that has a linear story going through it, but it’s really kind of made up of different short...

The book features exclusive photographs by Thomas Statchelhaus and Matthias Matthies documenting Lindemann and Kelly’s river journey down the Río Yavarí, an “untouched” tributary of the Amazon. There are a few preview shots on Rammstein’s webstore, and the images are striking indeed, depicting Lindemann handling dangerous-looking snakes and traversing the forest and villages with Kelly. In the book, the photos are accompanied by poems written by Lindemann and interviews with both artists. For Rammstein fans, it would make...

Marilyn Manson’s Team Issues Statement Addressing Evan Rachel Wood Controversy

Marilyn Manson’s publicity team has released a lengthy statement addressing the singer’s former relationship with actress Evan Rachel Wood. The statement comes after Manson hung up during an interview with Metal Hammer when he was asked about Wood’s 2019 testimony in which she revealed she was in an unspecified abusive relationship. The allegations stem from Wood’s testimony before California senators last year during the creation of the Phoenix Act. Without naming any one specific, Wood described an abusive relationship with an older man when she was 18 — around the time she was known to have dated Manson, who was 36 at the time. After Manson cut the interview with Metal Hammer short, the news outlet sent his UK publicist 10 questions regarding the topic that they wanted answered from the...

According to percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan, the band has been writing material for its next album and worked on new songs together last week. Filter Target “Trump-Supporting Nutbags” with New “Murica” Video: Watch

Filter mastermind Richard Patrick is on a political vendetta with the band’s upcoming album, Murica. As the frontman said himself, he’s targeting “Trump-supporting nutbags” with an incendiary video for the album’s title track. Patrick has been outspokenly anti-Trump on social media, opinions that led to the cancellation of a Filter show in the state of Texas in 2019. In the video, the singer portrays his version of a radical right winger, and he pulls no punches. “I just wanted to show this surreal, crazy side of what America looks like,” he told Alternative Press. “I literally am doing it just so the record shows that someone was willing to f**kin’ say something about the right. Something about how crazy they are.” The gun wielding, Nazi saluting characters in the “Murica” video are caric...
