Outside Lands Day 1 Live Gallery: The Strokes, Remi Wolf, Sharon Van Etten, JPEGMAFIA and More

Outside Lands Festival kicked off in San Francisco on Friday (October 29th), and thousands made their way to a sunny Golden Gate Park for a stacked first day. Highlights included two lovely sets from Bartees Strange (one on the Sutro Stage and one acoustic set at “Cocktail Magic”), October Artist of the Month Remi Wolf’s tour de force performance, Glass Animals’ main stage victory lap, and headliners Tyler, the Creator and The Strokes thrilling fans with their biggest hits. And with an ominous but perfectly-San-Francisco fog settling in around midday, Day 1 of Outside Lands had an incomparable vibe and energy — fitting, for the biggest festival in the Bay Area. Rolling Loud 2021 Day 2 Live Gallery: Rick Ross, Rod Wave, French Montana, Kodak Black and More

Day 2 of the 2021 edition of Rolling Loud New York brought mega-Spooky Season weather, as temperatures dipped and the evening culminated in some unfortunate rain on Friday, October 29th. That didn’t stop festivalgoers, however, from turning up to J. Cole, Rick Ross and many more. (We’ve got all of the highlights in our Day 2 recap here.) If you’re not on the ground during the Halloweekend fest, live vicariously through our visual recap of Day 2, which also featured sets from Wale, Bas, Kaash Paige and many more, below. In Photos: Artist of the Month Remi Wolf’s Sold-Out Show at Music Hall of Williamsburg

After blowing up during the pandemic, Remi Wolf arrived in Brooklyn last week to deliver her sold-out headlining show at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Even though this is only her first official tour, it’s likely the last chance fans will get to see her in a venue this size; before the gig even started, her next New York concert at the much larger Webster Hall in February was already sold out. Consequence was on hand at the MHOW to catch up with the funky soul pop artist for our latest Artist of the Month spotlight. Of course, we stuck around to catch the show itself, and you can check out our fully photo gallery below — including exclusive behind-the-scenes shots and portraits. Also, read our review of Remi Wolf’s debut album, Juno, and snag tickets to all her upcoming tour dates via T...

In Photos: Slipknot, Killswitch Engage, Fever 333, and Code Orange Bring “Knotfest Roadshow” to New Jersey

Slipknot invaded the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey, on Sunday (October 10th), headlining the “Knotfest Roadshow” with support from Killswitch Engage, Fever 333, and Code Orange. On an overcast day, Code Orange opened the festivities with a fiery eight-song set, including five tunes from their genre-defying 2020 album, Underneath. The sociopolitical-minded Fever 333, who have established themselves as one of rock’s most dynamic live acts over the past few years, were up next. Singer Jason Aalon Butler threw himself all over the stage, as he jumped off monitors, attempted a skateboard trick, and broke said skateboard during the course of their explosive seven-song set. Aftershock Festival 2021 Rocked by Metallica, Misfits, Machine Gun Kelly, Mudvayne, Rancid, and More: Photos + Video

After being forced to pull the plug on last year’s event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Aftershock festival returned to Discovery Park in Sacramento over the weekend, and put on an even bigger (and louder) event than in years past. With a newly expanded four-day lineup and two nights of Metallica, the California rock extravaganza was nothing short of yet another success for Danny Wimmer Presents. The newly added Thursday bill featured Bay Area thrash legends Death Angel, Exodus (with drummer Tom Hunting playing his first show back after recently undergoing successful cancer surgery) and Testament. Also on the opening-day lineup were Anthrax, hardcore upstarts Knocked Loose, and headliners Cypress Hill (who replaced Faith No More, who themselves had replaced Limp Bizkit). Day 2 (Friday) ...
