NCC: Subscribers not required to submit IMEI number

Fix Africa News Magazine Following the backlash from angry phone users over reports that they will be mandated to submit their International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) of their phones to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), the latter has described the news as false. NCC: Telcos to roll over subscriber’s unused data

Fix Africa News Magazine The Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) has instructed telecommunication companies to henceforth roll over subscriber’s unused data to subsequent data subscription.
