I stumbled across it while doing my weekly new-in-section check this morning and *very nearly* scrolled right past it. But the huge discount caught my eye, and then when I looked at the edit and saw how great it was (including a lot of classic autumn items I’d been thinking about buying anyway), I knew this was one that I needed to share with you. There are plenty of versatile pieces such as midi dresses, pretty tops and handbags that will make every outfit you wear look more premium, as well as in the future. But there are also some great classic jeans, light jackets (including that sellout shacket) and timeless knits to see you through so many seasons to come. So which pieces are truly worth buying, even without the discount? Keep scrol...
I love a good Zara rummage, and after years of shopping at the retailer both online and in-store, I have become somewhat of a Zara guru. I can always figure out how to spot the best finds—the ones that will sell out fast or will quickly go viral and be in the wardrobe of every Zara lover, myself included. The Zara sale was pretty epic (there were markdowns as low as £8), and when a retailer is having a sale, it usually is making room for all of the shiny new arrivals that will be gracing the sale floor and eventually our wardrobes. This round of new arrivals is absolutely gorgeous. I’m seeing great prints, denim that could pass for designer, shoes I can’t wait to try on, and tank tops I could live in. When I shop, I like to keep a few things in mind. I ask ...
This week, when I did my regular & Other Stories check-in, I was even more impressed than usual, and so many pieces went straight onto my autumn wish list. So I wanted to share the best bits I truly believe are worth investing in ahead of the new season. From beautiful camel coats that could easily pass for designer (and will no doubt sell out after being spotted on multiple influencers very soon) to striped knits I just know I’ll live in, there are so many items here you can wear right now through to spring and then look forward to pulling out the year after as well. So if you’re considering updating one or two pieces from your autumn capsule like I am, keep scrolling and you’ll find the best new & Other Stories fashion items to shop now, according to a fashion edi...

Scrolling through all the new-in sections of my favourite brands right now, it’s hard not to get excited about the onset of autumn. Slowly but surely, knits, boots and coats are popping up again, and all I can think about is crisp walks and cosy layers (ironically, as I sit sweltering in this final heatwave). Recently though, there’s been one outfit in particular I’ve spotted both Arket and H&M backing (and you know it’s good if those guys are on it). It’s the knitted trouser co-ord—flared trousers to be exact—and I’m pleased to report I already know it’s going to be my most worn look for the season. Yes, I’ll maybe wear some dresses too, and a fair few jeans-and-blazer outfits— but for those relaxed weekends, and for working from home, this couldn’t be m...
The blazer in question is a particular highlight, since it’s perfect for those slightly cooler days coming, thrown over your trusty T-shirt and jeans or favourite wide-leg trousers before you start to need a real coat. The best part is that it instantly elevates even the most casual outfit. Made using a smart boucle tweed-style fabric that is usually linked to high end luxury pieces, and with contrasting gold buttons, it’s bound to make you look rich whatever your salary. It comes in classic black and creamy white, but both are truly classic and will no doubt be fielding compliments and exclamations of disbelief for many years to come when you reveal its high street origins. The whole WWWUK team are obsessed, and currently the debate is raging as to which colour everyone plans o...
By now we’ve managed to work out some common threads between these affordable but expensive-looking outfits, from the brands that pop up the most to the specific styles that always make a look feel polished. The key, we’ve discovered, is to keep it classic since the high street does elevated basics so well. So as we head into spring, we thought what better time to round up the seven items to look out for that will elevate your wardrobe for the new season ahead without breaking the bank. From beautiful shirting to minimalist blazers, these are the pieces that will instantly make your 2022 wardrobe feel more polished without the price tag. Keep scrolling to shop. It helps that Mango has just dropped an epic new collection, and the first which hints at those cooler temperatures. It has a mostly western vibe (always one of my favourite autumn trends, and set to be huge for A/W 2022 in particular), and although there are so many great pieces, I’ve pinpointed five in particular that really stand out. From a fringed jacket I’ve seen all over Instagram already, to a pair of embellished slingbacks you may well find familiar— these are items that, from experience, I can basically guarantee will sell out. I plan on styling them all up now with more summery pieces, and then layering them up throughout the whole of autumn and winter. I don’t want to speak on behalf of my colleagues, but I think it’s safe to say that H&M is one of our favourite high-street brands, and we know the same goes for you. It’s one of the most-clicked stores we feature, so we’ve made a conscious effort to cater to your H&M appetite with our expensive-looking edits and is-it-worth-it roundups. Today, however, we thought we’d approach the subject of H&M a little differently. No brand is perfect, and certain stores do specific pieces better than others. We’ve already chronicled such thoughts on Zara, but now, we’ve decided to reveal which items we avoid buying from H&M in favour of other shopping outlets. Comfy, flattering and seriously expensive-looking. It’s no surprise H&M’s latest winning dress flew out of stock within days of landing on site. The cream and black colours have already gone (don’t worry I’m watching like a hawk for restocks), BUT the good news is that H&M just dropped a gorgeous new charcoal grey colour which still has all sizes available (for now). The dress in question? It’s H&M’s £25 Tailored Jersey Dress—simple yet incredibly elegant. It’s a sleeveless midi with a crew neck and subtle ruching on the body that flatters in all the right places–you can even wear a bra with it. The best part, though, is the super soft jersey material which is really nice and thick without being heavy, and double lined on the bust too. It drapes beautifully, and...
Fresh pre-fall and early autumn drops are arriving from both the high street and designers, which means a whole host of new inspo and ideas for how we want to dress for this transitional phase of the year. There are three high-street brands in particular, though, that we on the Who What Wear UK team always turn to first when a new season approaches: Arket, & Other Stories and H&M. And needless to say all of them have seriously impressed us for August. Whether you’re looking for some late summer pieces to wear right now that will take you through to the new season as well. Or you’re looking to get prepared and stock up on key autumn buys before they inevitably sell out further into the season—there’s plenty her...
Pretty floral dresses might be the brand’s M.O., but after a recent scroll through the new-in section I discovered that’s not the only thing Nobody’s Child can do well. Actually, it was the minimalist, understated wardrobe staples that caught my eye this time, from chic suiting to simple slip skirts and monochrome linen dresses. These are expensive-looking basics at their finest, and the kind of buys I love to bolster my wardrobe with— especially since they can be worn across all seasons, and are often much more timeless than printed or trend-led items. Keep scrolling, then, to see an edit of my favourite minimalist pieces from Nobody’s Child’s current new-in section. Perfect for wearing right now, and all the way into autumn/winter and next year too. You Deserve to Make Money Even W...
