A father and son are dead with seven others injured after a shooting that took place after a high school graduation ceremony in Richmond, Virginia. The incident took place on Tuesday on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University.

The College Board officially released the curriculum for their AP African American Studies course on Wednesday. The release was met with backlash as many noted that contemporary topics such as intersectionality, Black feminist & queer studies, and reparations were obscured and omitted from the framework. 64% of US blockchain-versed parents want crypto taught in schools: Survey

AfDB grants $11.26 million for women, girls’ education in Chad

The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank has approved a grant of $11.26 million to the Government of Chad to finance the Girls’ Education and Women’s Literacy Project – the bank’s first grant exclusively targeting women and girls. The project will be financed from the Bank’s Transition Support Facility and will be implemented over a five-year period by the Chadian Ministry of National Education and Civic Promotion, in coordination with partners involved in the education sector, civil society organisations, and youth organisations.
