Belgian club KAS Eupen have joined the race to sign Enyimba winger Anayo Iwuala, who last month debuted for the Super Eagles. L’Avenir has reported that Eupen will be interested in Iwuala, whose club have already put a million Euros price tag on. The 22-year-old is a daring winger, who loves to take on his marker with his speed, power and technique. Interestingly, another Super Eagles star, Henry Onyekuru got his first big breakthrough at this club. Henry Onyekuru scored twice as Galatasaray beat Gaziantep 2-1 in their Turkish Super Lig clash at the Gaziantep Stadyumu on Friday. It was Onyekuru’s first appearance for Fathi Terim’s side since he linked up with the club from Monaco. The Nigeria international started the game on the bench and replaced Morocco international Younnes Belhanda after the break. The 23-year-old put Galatasaray ahead in the 51st minute after he was teed up by Dutchman Ryan Babel. He scored his second goal of the game 12 minutes from time. Henry Onyekuru left out from Monaco pre season tour
The future of Super Eagles attacking winger, Henry Onyekuru, may be hanging in the balance after he was dropped from Monaco’s pre season training tour in Poland. Monaco coach Niko Kovac announced a 26-man squad for the tour on Monday with the name of the Nigerian missing. Although reasons for his exclusion were not disclosed, it appears that his services at the Principality club may not be needed by Kovac who just took over the reins. The player has been on loan with Turkey side Galatasaray after failing to cement regular playing time n his debut campaign in France.
