We’ve seen some great kid drummers over the years, including the über-talented Nandi Bushell, who was Consequence‘s Rookie of the Year in 2021. But rarely do we see someone as young as 3-year-old Motiriolaoluwa Emmanuel, a little boy from Nigeria who has some impressive skills behind the kit. Motiriolaoluwa (whose nickname appears to be Morolar) recently launched a TikTok account (@morolar26) and a YouTube channel, each with just a handful of videos thus far. One, in particular, shows the toddler displaying technique well beyond his years as he accompanies a children’s chorus. While his TikTok and YouTube videos have minimal views thus far, Motiriolaoluwa was recently profiled by Allnews Nigeria TV’s Budding Stars program, on which his parents discussed his passion for drums. Local H are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album Here Comes the Zoo with a Fall 2022 North American tour. The extensive run of dates begins September 11th in Omaha, Nebraska, and runs through December 13th in Toronto. The veteran alt-rockers will hit most markets along the way. The Bronx are heading out on a Fall 2022 North American tour, co-headlining the first leg with Aussie punks The Chats. The general on-sale begins Friday (August 5th) at 1 p.m. ET via Ticketmaster, with pre-sales launching Wednesday (August 3rd) and Thursday (August 4th), depending on the market. The co-headlining run kicks off October 4th in San Diego, California, and extends through October 23rd in Boston. Drug Church and Scowl will support these dates.
