Robert Plant has once again shot down the idea of a Led Zeppelin reunion. In a new interview with the Los Angeles Times, the legendary singer blew off the idea, responding to a remark suggesting that “plenty of fans would love” to hear him sing with Led Zeppelin again. “Going back to the font to get some kind of massive applause — it doesn’t really satisfy my need to be stimulated,” Plant said. A new festival dubbed Destination Chaos will debut in 2023 with a killer lineup that includes Iggy Pop, Descendents, Parquet Courts, and many more acts. The all-inclusive week-long experience takes place January 28th through February 4th at the Senator Puerto Plata Resort and Spa in the North Coast of the Dominican Republic. The announcement was made via the band’s Instagram Story and follows months of speculation after Ebert’s extended absence from their live set. The show marked AIC’s first concert in three years, after last playing in September 2019. The 30-city outing runs through an October 8th show in Mansfield, Massachusetts, with tickets available via Ticketmaster. With their seminal sophomore album, Dirt, turning 30 years old this year, AIC’s 15-song set was heavy on tunes from the 1992 classic.
