Corey Taylor Appears Masked and Unmasked in Music Video for Slipknot’s “Yen”: Watch

Slipknot have unveiled the music video for their new song “Yen,” featuring both a masked and unmasked Corey Taylor. The eerie clip comes ahead of the band’s forthcoming album THE END, SO FAR and fall Knotfest Roadshow tour. The outing launches September 20th in Nashville and runs through October 7th in Irvine, California. Get tickets via Ticketmaster. “Yen” is the latest single from the aforementioned album, and the band’s own M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan directed the music video, which is as demented as it is decadent. Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson Dances Like Any Other Awkward Dad at Son’s Wedding: Watch

Metal singer, pilot, author, accomplished fencer: Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson is a man of many talents. Dancing at weddings doesn’t appear to be one of them! The legendary vocalist could be seen cutting the rug at the reception for his son Austin’s wedding earlier this month. Dickinson might be known for his energetic stage presence, but it turns out he’s like any other awkward dad on the dance floor. Facebook footage from the reception sees Dickinson in lively spirits, vibing and flailing his arms about as he shimmies and shakes next to his freshly wedded son, who beams a huge smile. It all looks like a cracking good time, and Bruce certainly has no shame about his dance moves. In fact, he’s quite the trooper. Advertisement Related Video Austin is Bruce’s son with his second...

Footage Surfaces of Corey Taylor Recording Insane Screams on Slipknot’s Iowa: Watch

Slipknot’s Iowa stands as one of the band’s landmark achievements and one of the finest alternative metal albums of all-time, due in large part to frontman Corey Taylor’s extreme vocal performances. A rare clip has now surfaced of Taylor recording a particularly brutal take for the song “Gently” back on March 10th, 2001. If you thought his screams were vicious on the album, hearing them isolated — sans reverb or effects — is even more jaw-dropping. The 45-second footage sees Taylor in the dark, candlelit studio, unleashing terrifying throat-shredding screams and guttural howls. They sound so intense, it’s a wonder Taylor didn’t damage his vocal cords in the process. Advertisement Related Video One of the top comments on the video reads, “Those screams sound so painful. Not in any kind of g...
