Thoughtcrimes, the hardcore outfit featuring ex-Dillinger Escape Plan drummer Bill Rymer, have announced their debut album, Altered Pasts. The band also shared the video for the new single “Keyhole Romance” ahead of the LP’s August 26th release date. The legendary Circle Jerks finally made their way to New York City on Thursday night (July 7th) for a two-night stand at Irving Plaza following a number of pandemic-related postponements. The pioneering hardcore-punk band more than made up for the delay, delivering a 33-song set while headlining a bill that featured fellow veteran acts 7Seconds and Negative Approach. Originally, Circle Jerks had planned to hit the road in 2020 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their iconic debut album, Group Sex. Hardcore supergroup OFF! have announced a series of vinyl reissues ahead of their forthcoming full-length album. The Keith Morris-fronted band recently signed to Fat Possum Records, which is reissuing the First Four EPs compilation (available for the first time ever on LP format), along with the band’s two full-length efforts: 2012’s OFF! and 2014’s Wasted Years. The deluxe colored vinyl pressings arrive in late July and can be pre-ordered now via the label’s website. Technical riffs are stacked amongst a rhythmic barrage that borders on sludge metal. Alexisonfire Announce 2022 North American Tour Dates
Fresh off announcing their first album in 13 years, Canadian post-hardcore act Alexisonfire have unveiled dates for a 2022 North American tour. The band will hit the road in support of its new LP, Otherness, which arrives on June 24th. The North American dates are broken up into three legs, with the first one kicking off May 19th in Nashville, and wrapping May 29th with an appearance at the So What Music Festival in Dallas.
