Fucked Up Announce 2023 Tour Dates, Share Single “I Think I Might Be Weird”: Stream

Fucked Up’s next album One Day arrives later this month. Ahead of its release, the Toronto punks have announced a run of 2023 tour dates and shared the song “I Think I Might Be Weird.” After performing a handful of shows in their native Canada around One Day‘s release, Fucked Up will head to the UK for a run of dates in March. In April, the band will hit the US, performing in cities like Philadelphia, New York, DC, and Chicago. The tour wraps up May 5th at Cincinnati, Ohio’s Woodward Theater. Life of Agony and Sick of It All Announce 2023 North American Tour

Two New York City heavy music staples are teaming up for a 2023 North American tour. Alt-metal veterans Life of Agony and hardcore heroes Sick of It All will hit the road together beginning in early March. The “30 Sick Years of Agony” outing kicks off March 9th in Albany, New York, and currently runs through an April 1st gig in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, with more dates set to be announced. Tickets for most of the shows are currently on sale via Ticketmaster. Life of Agony most recently released 2019’s The Sound of Scars, but will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of their debut album, River Runs Red, on this tour — playing the 1993 album in its entirety. The Exploited’s Wattie Buchan Collapses Onstage After Suffering Suspected Heart Attack

The Exploited frontman Wattie Buchan collapsed onstage at a show on Saturday (December 10th) in Colombia and was rushed to the hospital after a suspected heart attack. As seen in the video clips below, the legendary Scottish punk singer, who’s 65 years old and has a history of heart problems, began clutching his chest and fell to his knees as the band played “Army Life.” According to a statement from the band, the singer had been trying to play through it before eventually collapsing. Much of the audience stayed at the venue until learning that Buchan was OK. Jesus Piece Return with “An Offering to the Night,” First New Song in Four Years: Stream

Jesus Piece have shared their first new music since 2018, dropping the single “An Offering to the Night.” The band also announced that it’s inked a record deal with Century Media for its long-awaited sophomore album. The Philadelphia act’s debut album, Only Self, earned acclaim for its unique mix of hardcore, metalcore, and death metal. “An Offering to the Night” brings back the push-pull tension of Only Self, while upping the extreme metal vibes. Distinct groove-work from bassist Anthony Marinaro and drummer Luis Aponte drives the song, while vocalist Aaron Heard delivers a raw and aggressive performance on the two-minute crusher.
