The Class of 2022 star, who recently signed to the legendary Capitol Records, is the producer of the year’s biggest crossover dance record. Following a select series of remixes from a bevy of elite dance music artists—Tiësto, Andrew Rayel, Subtronics and Sub Focus—ACRAZE has now enlisted one of the world’s most revered bass house producers to cap off the “Do it To It” saga. Venerated house music producers Tchami and AC Slater have assembled the finest artists from their respective record labels in a bass house showcase, Confessions X Night Bass: The Album. The compilation boasts the brightest stars on both the Night Bass and Confession constellations. The joint venture is careful in its approach to not outshine the other, instead obscurely blending both collectives. Opting to home in on the similarities between the two house music imprints, the album is cohesive and ultimately delivers a powerful collection of records ready for the dancefloor. Speaking of the dancefloor, the introductory track is a piercing bullet of a record, with its aim on the discotheque. With vocals by Kate Wild, “Only One” is the brainchild of Tchami...

Nitepunk’s Wild Breakbeat Track “Flow” Gets a Habstrakt House Twist

Nitepunk released “Flow” as his first single on the HARD RECS label just last month, making a splash on the fan-favorite electronic music imprint. The original track showcased a set of inventive breakbeat production skills, proving that Nitepunk has a lot to offer the dance music scene.  Last year, Nitepunk remixed Habstrakt‘s “The One” and he was not the only artist to do so, joining the likes of fellow bass heavyweights NGHTMRE, Basstrick, Asdek, Effin, and Unlovable. This year, the roles have been reversed. Habstrakt, the renowned French bass house producer, has decided to give “Flow” his own unique spin.  Habstrakt—the french house mainstay artist—has been on a roll as of late, releasing tracks on Never Say Di...

Habstrakt Delivers a Behemoth Bass House Remix for DJ Snake’s “Trust Nobody”

DJ Snake sent shockwaves through the world when he dropped “Trust Nobody” in his hometown at Paris La Défense Arena, igniting a massive “wall of death” for the largest single-day EDM event in European history. The organized chaos of the mosh-pit echoed the high-octane energy of his hardest release to date. He’s now passing over the remix baton to fellow Frenchman Habstrakt, who somehow made it into even more of a behemoth.  When an artist like Habstrakt says “I lost it on this remix, had to go HARD,” you know it’s time to buckle up. He transforms the track with a large dose of his signature frenetic bass house, cranking up the BPM to a degree that will have you opening up the pit in your own living room. Habstrakt&nbs...

Despite the delay, there is still much to celebrate for Escapade fans. For starters, the festival has retained its original 2020 headliners for next year’s event, which include The Chainsmokers, Kaskade, Martin Garrix, and Illenium.
