Archer’s H. Jon Benjamin on Saying Goodbye to the FX Series (and What He Won’t Miss)

The voice actor explains that "there were many, many episodes where my voice started to give out, for sure." Archer’s H. Jon Benjamin on Saying Goodbye to the FX Series (and What He Won’t Miss) Liz Shannon Miller

Archer Season 13 Retains the Show’s Signature Amusement and Absurdity: Review

The Pitch: Typically, the longer a hit program goes on, the harder it is for it to maintain its quality and relevance. Thus, Archer’s ability to mostly preserve its trademark wittiness, ridiculousness, and audaciousness across 12 seasons (and 12 years) is commendable. Admittedly, some fans and reviewers feel that it’s fallen from grace in some ways — and maybe it has — but it’s hard to deny that the show remains immensely clever, fun, and (at times) moving. The Season 12 finale “Mission: Difficult” cemented all of that very well. For one thing, it found its lovable band of dysfunctional spies dishing out plenty of biting quips and explosive action before ultimately being acquired by a rival company called the International Intelligence Agency, or IIA, run by British mogul Fabian Kingsworth...

Bob’s Burgers Renewed for Two More Seasons by Fox

Bob’s Burgers was renewed for Season 11 mere months ago, and it looks like the animated series won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. Fox just gave an order for Season 12 and 13 of the Emmy-winning TV show as well, reports Deadline. “Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers are key pillars of our network’s success. By taking the genre to new heights and driving pop culture in meaningful ways, they’ve laid the foundation for making Animation Domination one of the most powerful program blocks in all of television,” said Michael Thorn, President, Entertainment, Fox Entertainment. “Both of these two-season renewals affirm once again our commitment to animation and empower us to continue in our build as the leader in the space with distinct and fresh new comedies. We’d like to thank Seth, Loren and their en...

Bob’s Burgers Renewed for Season 11 by Fox

The cast of Bob’s Burgers is always inventing new hijinks in their day-to-day lives. It should come as no surprise, then, that Fox has decided to renew the animated series for an 11th season, inviting Tina, Louise, Bob, Linda, and Gene to cause a ruckus for a little bit longer. It seemed likely that the Emmy-winning Bob’s Burgers would be picked up for another season — especially considering it’s one of the best TV shows of the decade and a feature-length spinoff film is in the work. Today, Fox Entertainment president Michael Thor made it official. Editors’ Picks Season 11 of Bob’s Burgers is slated to air during Fox’s fall 2020 schedule. Thankfully the coronavirus pandemic shouldn’t get in the way, as animated TV series are staying in production because animators and voice acto...
